China Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I have gotten carryout often from China Garden over the past 8 years. I usually am very pleased with my food. Tonight I ordered Sea Scallops, Hot and Sour soup, and the Moo Goo Gai Pan combo, which includes a pork egg roll and pork fried rice. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was delicious, the fried rice and egg roll were ok. The Hot and Sour soup was neither Hot nor Sour, disappointing! Besides that I had ordered quart of soup hoping to have some for tomorrow, well they cheated me, only gave me 3 cups of soup not a full quart! I paid for a quart!😢 But the Biggest disappointment was the Sea Scallops which weren't Sea Scallops at all! They were heavily battered Imitation, white fish, Scallops!!! Sweet white fish at that! Yuck! They were Horrible! The menu didn't state that they were imitation! I definitely will never order...

We tried ordering from here through door dash and the dasher stole our food. We then ordered again with my wife going in herself and picking it up. The way they treated her was outstanding. They even recognized our order and confirmed they watched the person canceling our order after receiving it. The amount of care and effort clearly put into packing our order as well as the sheer amount FRESH food compared to the amount we paid shows they clearly care about their customers happiness. They forgot one item, though we're not really that concerned just because of the amazing food and service they provide. I love Chinese food and this will be a place I will be...

VERY IMPTESSED and HAPPY with CHINA GARDEN with food and service. The service is great and service time as well. The food is one of the BEST RICH FLAVORFUL cusines you can ask for. It is a MUST HAVE WHEN IN THE AREA. PRICES ARE VERY COMPETETIVE. ACTUALLY LOWER COST on some things as well as the dishes are bigger on some things. EXAMPLE : Golden Wok - fried dumplings are $6.95 and you get 5 Here at China Garden FRIED DUMPLINGS: $4.75 you get 8 They are also much more delicious from here.
