This was my first time going to one of the Cinco de Mayo Cantinas. I loved the decorations and colorful artwork throughout the restaurant. My server, Tanya, was very friendly and did a great job of making sure that I had everything I needed for food and drinks. She was also very helpful in answering any questions I had about the food and drinks. I wanted something a little different, so I ordered the Quesabirrias which was two tacos with shredded beef and cheese with toppings and a side of meat juice for dipping. It was delicious! It also came with rice and refried beans which were very good. Their salsa and chips are some of the best I've had. For a drink, I had their black margarita which I had seen on Indy Now when a couple of ladies from one of their restaurants had been on the show. It was pretty strong and sweet and very good! Tanya said I could get either salt or sugar on the rim, so I got sugar which turned out to be gummi rings with a sugar coating. There was also a black skull floating on top of the drink, which I thought was plastic, but it turned out to be made of ice, very cool. The server who made the came over and told me a little bit about the drink. As I was getting ready to leave, Tanya gave me an amigos card so that I could get a free meal after purchasing five meals. She went ahead and punched two of the circles. Thank you very much Tanya! A big thank you to Tanya and everybody else at this great restaurant for a very enjoyable meal experience! I will...
Read moreMy fiancé & I loved this restaurant until recently. I’ve brought them a lot of business by bringing lots of family and friends here on different occasions. The service has been awful the last 4 times we’ve been. Don’t advertise real fruit inside of the margaritas if you aren’t going to provide it. When people are paying 15$ for speciality cocktails they expect them to look how the pictures do that you are displaying on the menu. The first time it happened I let it go. the next two times I asked the server if they had the fruit and they lied to me and said yes. They then proceed to bring my drink out with no fruit. I ask about it, they say oh we don’t have it. Well then why wouldn’t you say that when I ordered it and when I asked? Knowing these things you should be more transparent with your customers. The frozen machine has been broken with no urgency to fix it. We last ate here yesterday and that may have been the last time now. Ordered the frozen rainbow margarita because they claimed the machine was working, my drink came out looking like a completely melted slushy with no fruit. It’s a little disappointing to be a regular and receive inconsistent service. I felt like they were being sneaky knowing they didn’t have stuff brought the drinks out as is and expect me to pay the same price? Not cool. Just be...
Read more1st i tried to call and place an order, but the phone kept hanging up, so i go up there and place an order with a employee. Go wait in the car for 20 minutes, go back inside, they have no record of my order...i haven’t paid yet so i decide to go to a different mexican restaurant. That restaurant was closed. so i go back up to Texas margaritas, place the same exact order paid for my food and go wait in the car for bout 15 minutes. Go inside collect my order. Get home the food was ice cold. They gave us the food they had no record of the 1st time we order. They clearly found the old order and decided to not give us fresh food, mind you this is about 2 1/2 hours after we placed the first order. We call and explain the situation, and the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude then hung up on us. We live like 5minutes away, so we drive up there with the cold food. Then told a manager that they wasn't redoing the order, we should've stayed the first time( in Spanish) she clearly didn’t know i speak spanish fluently. She continue to yell and scream, and blame the mistake on covid and how busy they are. I understand that but why would you serve us cold food... i will never go back to this establishment. We have done birthday parties here, but i guess we’ll be using la hacienda...
