REVISED REVIEW (1-STAR TO 3-STAR) AFTER PHONE CALL FROM CORPORATE REPRESENTATIVE*
Front counter staff is mostly and USUALLY friendly and professional. Our visits to this location had been consistently pleasant. The hams are always outstanding. The one turkey breast we purchased was disappointing (seemed bland & rather dry), so we never tried another.
I returned to store 15 minutes after a 10-lb whole boneless ham purchase due to an overcharge error. Manager mumbled, grumbled, and poked at the cash register for an oddly long time, eventually pulled $2 from the drawer for the error adjustment, handed it to me, and only grumbled, "There you go."
No apology for the error and the trouble.
I hesitated, thinking surely he'd at least offer an "I'm sorry" or "Have a good day" ... but nothing. I sarcastically apologized to him for causing a problem. He replied, "That's okay ..." I replied, "Seriously, I have to apologize for your error?" He just turned and walked away.
I should have simply tossed the $2 to him rather than making the angry comments I left him with.
*UPDATE: Based on response of a genuinely concerned corporate rep who reached out by phone, the same day, I deleted some details and improved the rating. I will likely go back -- but probably to another location. I declined the gift card the rep offered ... saying, "I want good, respectful customer service, not free stuff." He insisted, so I asked him to donate something to Gleaners Food Bank of Indianapolis. He said they would and would email me some kind of confirmation...
Read moreWhen I order from "a third party"that your website directs me to, the store is culpable when you don't check the receipt of a Door Dash driver who steals from customers... not doing so reflects on your business and the people who service customers. Honey Bake Ham shouldn't take online orders if they can't account for them. Door Dash is a scam business, so don't contract with them or send customers to their site, Honey Bake. Honey Bake told me to call Door Dash, but Door Fash told me to call Honey Baked Ham. We ordered the meal for our parents and we're out of state. "Freddy" delivered a bag with baked beans to my parents, which we never ordered. We actually ordered a meal with ham, turkey, mac and cheese, and rolls. We paid 81.47, which included an 11.00 tip for the driver who stole from us and all the fees Door Scam charges. The meal was curated by Honey Bake, and their site directed you to the scam. They claimed it felt unusual when Freddy showed them a "reciept" for a delivery for baked beans. However, they didn't actually check it out. This meal was for my elderly parents on Christmas Eve. This is why the economy will tank soon because people, including large corporations, will play a shell game with people's limited resources and good faith. Buyer beware. Keep your money and only work with places that...

Smoked Honey Baked Turkey Breast, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion and Duke’s® buttermilk ranch on multigrain bread. Delicious! And the : Ham Classic Sandwich. Always premium 100% white breast meat, This meal includes one Honey Baked Smoked Turkey Breast, one Cheesy Potatoes Au Gratin, one Tuscan-Style Broccoli (simply bake or microwave), and a 12-pack of King's Hawaiian Rolls. Serves up to 6. Plenty of left overs great meal. 👍👍 Addendum- returned this afternoon and brought home some sliced Turkey and a single serve Turkey pot pie. Unlike all their delicious food this was abysmal. The absolute most terrible joke of what a pot pie should be. If this is your best effort, do yourself a favor and please remove it...
