Bryce threatened to âcall someone to do something to meâ after he and I had words over Dominoâs failed deliveries two weeks in a row. This incident occurred in store at or around 9:05 pm on Friday October 13, 2023. I ordered pizza for my children while I was at work. I requested contactless delivery on both orders and left the specific delivery instructions to leave the pizza on a chair outside of my apartment door. Both Fridays(today and 10/6/23) the pizzas were marked delivered when, in fact, they had not been. On October 6th, the driver(male) called me and said he was downstairs at which time I reiterated that it was a contactless delivery and repeated my delivery instructions. He said ok and I assumed it had been done. After checking my ring camera and calling my children I found that the delivery had not been made. I called the store, spoke to a gentleman and he remade and resent the order out. Cool beansâŚmistakes happen right? Well this evening the same thing happens except the response I received from the restaurant was completely different. I called twice. The first person I spoke to said it was an error in the app and to give it a few minutes. So I did. After 10 minutes or so I called back and the young lady that answered the phone was less than helpful to say the least. She answered the phone âHow can I help youâ never identifying herself nor the business in general. I asked her a few questions and when I saw she was committed to not even pretending like she cared or was going to help, I asked for a manager. This is when I first encountered Bryce. I explained that this was the second week in a row that my pizzas were not delivered and explained the situation to him. Initially he gave me the same speech about the app being messed up and that the delivery driver was still out. So I asked him if he could see how far away the driver was because at that point it was more than an hour after I placed the order. He placed me on hold and came back saying the driver was back and she stated the pizzas had been delivered. It was at this point that his tone changed and he became seemingly accusatory towards me. He asked me to verify the pizzas had not been delivered(which I did). He stated that he could not afford to keep making and sending pizzas out and, basically, because I live in an apartment community itâs not his fault that my pizzas were being stolen. My immediate response was that I can verify that no delivery had been made because I have a camera at my front door and there had been ZERO movement from the time my son placed the chair out there (6:18 pm) and the moment my son went to check for the pizzas(7:24 pm). I also went on to tell Bryce that while I understand the business losing money, I was the one losing money and being inconvenienced by dominoâs drivers errors. I told him at the end of the day and beginning of tomorrow my ultimate goal was to feed my children while I was at work. At this point Bryce said he would remake the pizzas himself and redeliver them himself so that he could âsee what was going on himselfâ. None of that sat well with me, simply because I work entirely too hard for anyone to blatantly or indirectly accuse me of lying or stealing anything from anyone ever. I was and am still very much offended by this. When I got off work I stopped by the store location to show Bryce exactly what I saw on my camera. I can only assume that he was ruffled by the fact that I stood on the truth and was not afraid of him raising his voice at me. He even mentioned the whole interaction being on camera, which I truly hope someone views. Bryce escalated the situation almost immediately and when he saw I was not afraid nor was I going to kowtow to him becoming aggressive he threatened me. He also said he was going to blacklist me with Dominos. I am 100% fine with NEVER going to another Dominos location ever but I will not be called a liar nor will I ever be okay with spending my hard earned money in an establishment that thinks nothing of being disrespectful and belittling to...
Read moreI was in town last week for a family reunion, we rented an Airbnb for the week. The first night we wanted to order pizza, we placed the order online and put a $20 tip, and immediately received a call saying there werenât enough drivers to satisfy the request (4 pizzas) and they cancelled our order. The following evening we placed another online order for 6 pizzas, some drinks and a side of cheese bites, and included a $25 driver tip. When given the same âwe donât have enough driversâ speech, I asked them to change the order to carryout instead of delivery. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was told that they didnât remove the $25 delivery tip or the surcharge for the delivery, and that I would have to take it up with corporate if I wanted anything other than a same-store credit (which I canât use since I was only visiting for a week, and why would I place a 3rd order with them that week after the first two were horrible?
In the end, we didnât even get our cheese bites. Initially the outgoing charge on my card wasnât reflecting the $25 tip the first few days afterward, so I thought they had fixed it, but now Iâm seeing that the $25 delivery tip was actually removed despite converting to a carryout order. As I was leaving, a driver showed up, just having...
Read moreOrdered a medium pizza and specialty buffalo chicken. Simple order, not complicated. Was told upon confirmation of payment that the order would be arriving in an hour. Order did not arrive until almost two hours after placing it. Called the store 90 minutes after placing my order to inquire about the status of it. Was told that the driver was out delivering multiple orders and thatâs why it was late (by almost an hour). How is this the customerâs problem? I asked how long I should wait before canceling my order and was told âit should be arriving momentarily.â When I asked how long momentarily would be, I was hung up on. Food arrived cold, nasty, and was a waste of money. I realize this is Dominoâs so I tempered my expectations before even ordering. However, an order arriving almost an entire hour late and getting hung up on by an employee are both inexcusable. Donât order delivery from here.
Update: Just called the Broad Ripple store and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, use the gift certificate they sent me, and order for delivery again. The man I spoke with on the phone would not honor the gift certificate because I did not have a âfour digit coupon code.â Done. Do not go here, order delivery from here, and celebrate when this...
