My family and I visited this location on 12/21/24 to pick up some donuts, expecting them to be open until 8 PM as stated on Google and on the Dunkin’ website. However, when I pulled up to the drive-through at 7:07 PM, I was curtly informed they had closed at 7 PM. To make matters worse, I could clearly see donuts still in the store as I drove past the front door.
I double-checked and confirmed it still listed an 8 PM closing time on my phone. When I mentioned this to the employees, they shrugged it off, claiming they had changed their hours “a while ago” and were sorry for the confusion. When I suggested they update their website to reflect the correct hours, they gave me the most absurd excuse imaginable: they said it was “impossible” to change because all other locations close at 8 PM. Seriously? In what world is it impossible to fix your own store’s hours online?
At the very least, they should have apologized sincerely and offered to notify someone in charge to correct the hours to prevent further inconvenience for other customers. The fact that they didn’t even attempt that basic level of accountability speaks volumes about their lack of professionalism. An apology and maybe even offering us a couple of donuts for the wasted trip would have been the decent thing to do. But no—they opted for excuses instead.
For contrast, we ended up going to another donut shop nearby that was close to closing. Not only were they kind and welcoming, but they even gave us a free donut with our order since they had extras and were about to close. That is the difference between exceptional customer service and the complete lack of it.
I’ve already made an updated suggestion for the hours on Google Maps, so hopefully no one else will waste their time like we did. Unfortunately I have no easy way to suggest the time edit on the Dunkin’ website. But let this be a lesson to management: customer service matters, and this store is clearly...
Read moreI tried this place yesterday for the first time. I walked in, was not acknowledged, eventually a girl came over to the register but stood a little away from it and turned her head away from me and said nothing. It was very awkward but she eventually took my order. She did the same thing to the people who came in after me and I could tell they were also confused by the way she acted. Someone needs to tell this person that when a customer comes in, you are supposed to interact with them. Guess she didn't get the memo. The donuts tasted old and dry. The brown sugar shaken espresso was not bad but my cup was only filled to about 2 inches below the top and had so much ice that it probably had 5 sips in it. Super disappointing experience, won't be back. Next time I have a craving for a donut and a coffee I will just go to McDonald's that is in the same...
