Read till bottom because I was also overcharged

I never post bad reviews because I don't like doing them but I could not shy away from this one. When I tell you it was the worse service I've ever had I mean it not to mention the terrible tasting food. First of all walking into the restaurant the atmosphere was dull no music playing or nothing just a quiet room. The waitress was not friendly at all. The food we ordered was obviously reheated and not even well at that. The chicken tasted like it was old and not fresh. We couldn't eat the food so we mentioned it to the waitress and she didn't apologize once. She just kept making excuses and claimed that we didn't know what Peruvian food tasted like and kept making it seem like it was our fault not the kitchens, she wasn't even Peruvian she was El Salvadorian. After arguing for a while with her she finally agreed to replace it with something else and then she came back empty handed saying that cook didn't want to cook anymore because they were gonna close in 30 minutes which is understandable I guess but then why would you offer it to us in the first place. She said translated "if you didn't like the chicken you probably wouldn't have liked the other meal anyways" in a undemeaning tone. She said the owner said to just clear the one plate off our order. To make matters worse she overcharged every meal on my dad and I's plate and I'm not sure if she did that out of spite but I will post the receipt for proof. When you run a business the customer should always be right. We own a business too and if something like that happens we would give a full refund on everything. 60$ to the TRASH. We drove 1 hour for nothing. Do...

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. The food that was served to me was not fresh and tasted very unpleasant. It was clear that the ingredients used in my meal were not of good quality and had probably been sitting around for a while. The dish was also poorly cooked and lacked any flavor or seasoning, making it very unappetizing.

Moreover, the attitude of the person who served me was extremely rude and unprofessional. They seemed uninterested in helping me and did not take my concerns seriously when I brought up the issue with the food. They had an abrasive tone and made no effort to apologize or rectify the situation. This behavior was unacceptable and made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the restaurant.

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone due to the poor quality of food and the rude behavior of the staff. It's important for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and take feedback seriously in order to improve their services. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed to do so during my visit, leaving me with a negative impression of the...

The service staff was excellent but the food needs lots of improvement. Being Peruvian I expected a real Peruvian taste, but it is not worth the price nor the trip to get there. My wife asked for Jalea with salsa criolla because they only offer it with salad; I have no idea why. The salsa criolla was made with soggy and slimy onion and it seemed that they used lemon from a plastic container so sour and tasteless that damaged the dish completely. When we asked if they could make it fresh(only the salsa criolla) they said that we had to wait until all of the customers were taken care of. This is made so quickly that any of us could make it right on the table, but I guess the cooks were not that confident. The salchipapa we bought for the kids was not even tasty for them. I mean fries and hotdog not tasty? This is definitely NOT a restaurant for Peruvians to enjoy. If this restaurant was in Peru, they would have closed already because nobody would go to eat there! Not recommended for Peruvians but for those who want something different it will taste ok but definitely IT IS NOT THE...

Excellent service, incredible food, and a lovely atmosphere. The ceviche was wonderful with tasty crunchy fried corn kernels. The beef heart and oyster appetizers were phenomenal. The beef dish I had was some of the most flavorful and tender beef I 've eaten, served smothered in onion gravy and topped with fried eggs, all over French fries and white rice, and with lightly fried plantain on the side. The servers were very nice and genuinely helpful. The portions and prices were fabulous for the quality and flavors. Overall, a delightful experience from beginning to end.

I at first felt skeptical about trying this place out due to the low ratings, but our experience was better than I thought it would be! Peruvian cuisine is new to me so I didn’t know what to expect. In the end, I was impressed! Our waitress was super friendly, the menu is huge with lots of options. In the end, I got the fried fish with fries. It was honestly great! The fish was crispy and tasted fresh. Overall impressed. I might make a stop here again at some point. If you’re in it for Peruvian cuisine on the west side of Indy, this joint might suit you well.
