I have been coming to the Marco's on 71st and Georgetown for almost 4 years now, and have seen the management change twice over the course of my time in New Augusta. The manager that was there when I initially moved in was very bossy and surly, and due to this, I didn't give the restaurant a chance until November of 2020.
The new management at that time consisted of a family: Rajeev (Raj) Rehal, Sadhna (Sandy) Rehal, and Sahil, who didn't share their last name. Raj was very kind and reasonable with me, and the pizza was top quality. Sahil, although a huge teaser, was also very fun to be around from time to time.
Early this year, the management changed for the second time, although not for the worse. In fact, one of the co-owners, Tahir, was also very kind and understanding, and very easy to get along with. Raj and his wife retired because they got enough money together to live off of for the next 40 to 50 years by investing 75% of their earnings (carefully) into Bitcoin, and once the value shot up dramatically, they decided to retire. Sahil left once they announced their retirement, and I know where he now works.
The atmosphere is very peaceful at most times, as they are only very busy on specific days of the week most of the time, and although one of their employees speaks limited English and partial understanding of American accents, he is also very friendly and outgoing. Overall, this is the second-best establishment I have ever eaten at, only behind The Journey/Odyssey in quality of food and atmosphere.
I love coming back to this Marco's again and again, and although I am moving away in the near future, this place will always have a very special place...

We ordered two pizzas and an order of wings, the order was estimated to take 25 minutes to get to our home. 45 minutes later, I get a phone call from the delivery driver, he mentioned that he was at the central office/pool location of our town home complex, I of course give him specific instructions on how to get to our town home from there, as it was a straight shot less than a minute away. I waited patiently for 15 minutes, after which I decided to call the store. The "general" manager answered the phone, mumbling and hardly audible. I asked to speak with the manager, and to my surprise it was this person who answered with unclear speech and a bad attitude. I told him exactly what happened and he said he would call me back. Not more than 7 minutes later the store calls me back saying the delivery driver was back with my pizza claiming that when he tried to get a hold me I didn't answer and that there were trucks blocking my street! FALSE!!!! I was completely appalled at the fact that he not only lied, but then after I explained to the person on the phone that I spoke with the manager already, I heard the manager in the background saying that he would call me later, after my pizza was REdelivered!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING!!?? Not only did I receive the worst service on the planet, but I am also paying over $30 for cold pizza that is over 1 hour old! I will never be going back to this place, and if I were you I wouldn't either. I would recommend any other chain pizza place...
Read moreTerrible delivery experience 2nd time this week! First time wrong pizza delivered late. Ordered a veggie - they delivered pepperoni. I Caught the mistake before delivery guy left and they credited us with $15 off our next one after delivery guy got a $3 tip. They Delivered a new pizza 1/2 hour later. Okay so we tried again tonight. We Ordered pizza at 5pm and they said it would be there in 45 minutes. It wasn't there so We called back at and spoke to Mgr who said it was in the way at 6pm and would be there shortly. We waited and Called back at 6:15pm - No pizza and this Mgr would not let us talk.She was Only interested in giving us another credit. We told her instead we'd like our card credited- She wouldn't do it and told us we'd have to call her gm back tomorrow and hung up. I called back at 6:30pm after the delivery guy arrived and wouldn't leave even though we'd cancelled with Mgr earlier. I called back after he finally left and spoke to Jessica-Mgr , she finally provided her name and gave me Terrence, her gm's name and schedule on Saturday. I told her we were concerned with the poor service Marcos provided our last 2 orders and her lack of listening to our concerns. We will not purchase or recommend this Marcos on Georgetown Rd and W. 71st Street again. They are Very unprofessional in all areas of customer service.
