Customer service today is in dire need of good old fashioned friendliness. I am very disappointed by the way I was treated.
I strive to never complain unless it is just unacceptable.
Today is just the day, because I have never posted any review online and rarely ask for management to get involved. Its getting monotonous, to be treated disrespectfully, no matter where you go, in restaurants and almost any interaction in public anymore.
The lady taking the order sounded annoyed and unfriendly. I had my niece with me and was trying to figure out what she wanted. I believe the lady that took the order, was the one that gave me the food. I felt like she wanted to toss it in my car. She appeared to go out of her way to deliver food to me personally, so she could express her frustration using her body language and unfriendly facial expressions. There was a another lady standing at the window, which didn't say a word. ...no thank you or greeting..
I had reason to believe the lady that took the order was the same lady that abruptly delivered the food. She aquardly had to reach around the silent lady at the window to what seemed purposely done, to make it a point she was annoyed.
I know fast food restaurants have time restrictions, but it shouldn't hinder the customer service. I normally ask for a name if I'm bothered enough to maybe pass on for feedback to improve customer service. I choose taco bell over McDonald's any day, McDonald's is the slowest fast food restaurant there is and service is awful and incorrect,
The side of town shouldn't represent the way you are treated, I've worked in restaurants 8 years, during high school and college where i acquired very beneficial people skills, I worked in an emergency room for 15 years, and dealt with unhappy people frequently,
Its hard to save lives with critical patients when most patients expect first come, first serve, I've dealt with many different people with very different cultures and beliefs, And am proud that I could put a smile on faces a majority of the time, even the most angriest,
I take pride in how I treat others and I encourage everyone to consider to do the same, to create a world that's happier,
I encourage people to consider creating a happier world just by simply being friendly
A prime example is "the ripple effect" Something that restaurant employees experience from time to time,
It's when a person decides to pay for the stranger behind them in a restaurant drive thru line,
the impact this small kind act can have on people is indescribable,
A person could be dealing with the worst things in life, death, divorce, suicidal thoughts, ect
This could change a person's life, or it might just give someone a smile and/or warm and fuzzy feeling
Regardless these people will be more likely to treat people along their paths that day better, and those people kinder to more people, and so on...
I pray for the world to heal every day now, especially since this virus pandemic, We need to help each other, by kind to one another to make it through these tough times, and to create a happier environment...
Read moreThe average wait is at least 20 to 30 minutes! You can end up waiting up to an hour which has happened to me before in the drive-through!They ran out of items last night and just yelled at people that they didn’t have it! Pretty much didn’t want to serve anybody!
Please replace the employees with robots ASAP!I am very suspicious that the franchise owner is paying for fake reviews! No person that has visited this McDonald’s would ever give it five stars! This is possibly the worst place to get food in the entire world!!!!!!!!My entire life I have never been to a place that is worse than this horrible dump!!!!!!!!!!
Everyone should complain about this place, it is probably a franchise. The corporate McDonald’s people need to know about it’s consistently rude, hostile employees and it’s poor performance!!!!!!!From what I’ve heard McDonald’s employees start off at $10 an hour now, there is no reason for them to act like they’re getting $7.25!!!!!!!I’ve been to all the McDonald’s in this city. This is the only one that needs to be shut down and demolished!!!!!!It is the worst place to ever try and get food, don’t even bother!!! I have PTSD and their rude, evil, nasty employees Trigger me!!!!!!!! Watch out for the late-night lady that works the second window in the drive-through she will tear you a new one!
Another time I was there for over 25 minutes waiting on 2 sandwiches and 4 tenders. There were three cooks. One of the cooks,I believe his name was Jerome, did not work at all the entire time. When the manager would tell him to work he would walk over to a big Mac box and touch it and then go back to leaning on the counter. He did not make one sandwich or anything the entire time I was there,he did not do any work. He should be fired!I walked out of there without my food!
Update I went again and was yelled at after I told the cashier I had waited for a while and my order was no longer on the screen.I was making sure that my food was still being made. The manager yelled at me that I had not waited long and started talking about me to the other employees saying she hates it when customers complain.I wasn’t complaining she was Extremely rude and needs to be fired. Next time I am going to get her name and report her to corporate. She was also yelling at the window washer so she likes to...
Read moreMan ohhh man where to start. Look, it’s 2023 and I get it, it’s hard to find people to work in fast food establishments. But did I witness some shenanigans today.
To start with, not sure if I murdered the drive thru workers mom but he seemed to be on a mission to exact revenge on myself and all my blood relatives. He argued with me that the M&M McFlurry wasn’t an item, lol not sure how long M&M McFlurrys have been on the menu but pretty sure they have existed longer than he has graced this earth with his presence.
So after a short 27 minutes in the drive thru (I get it short handed), we pulled up to receive our food. They handed us our bag of food, and said have a nice night. I asked, well can o have the drink that came with the meal (a Dr Pepper) and the McFlurry I ordered. While one employee made the Dr Pepper, the second drive thru employee put ice cream in a cup (approximately 3/4 full) put a spritz or two of M&M’s in the cup, put the lid on the McFlurry, and then filled the remainder of the cup with whip cream. He never attached the mixing spoon or anything, lol hell didn’t even provide a spoon during the exchange. As the gentleman handed me the McFlurry, I asked what the hell was this and he said that is how they are made. I just didn’t even know where to begin.
I’m not sure what is/was happening on 28-July, maybe terrorists had hijacked the store and were impersonating McDonald’s employees while they attempted to get into the safe. Maybe a brain eating virus was released and the employees are being victimized. Maybe the oxygen has been removed from the building and each employee is fighting for enough of that sweet 79/21 atmosphere to keep trucking along. Whatever is happening may God have mercy on the souls of whoever is in charge of that...
