Firstly I would like to say papa johns is my #1 favorite pizza place. I am new to this state. Back home in Texas I’ve never had a bad experience at papa johns. Tonight I went in and the first thing I noticed was how dirty the employees were. They were all covered in pizza dough flour. Even one of the ladies had flour all over her coat which made me wonder if her coat was all over the dough as it was being prepared. Also no one had on gloves and the counter where the pizza dough was being prepared was cluttered and junky looking. Which also made me second guess taking the pizza. I continued with my order and opened the box to my cheese sticks and saw only one sauce. I asked the manager (or who looked as if he were the manager) how much another sauce was. He told me 65 cents. I asked if only one comes in with all the cheese sticks I ordered. He rudely said yes and proceeded to ask me if I want to buy another. I said no I’ll rather buy a jar at the store. But I couldn’t even get all of that out, he rudely talked over me and kept saying thank you have a good night in a rude way. Another employee nice to me which is the only Reason I seconded guessed not to write a google review on this store. I’m an avid reviewer rather good or bad I like to leave reviews on my experiences because I shop by reviews as well. I came home and read the reviews and saw someone else leave a negative comment about the manager. I am not sure if this guy is the manager but he was a skinny tall white guy. I will NEVER return to this location and if it’s the closest one to me, I’d rather choose another pizza place before I order from here again. Read moreWe order pizza regularly form this site almost every week. Delivery has gotten really bad. Majority of the time the pizza is cold like it was not in a pizza bag and the butter is not liquid but rather a gel. When the driver gets to our door they just stand there. If we did not have a ring doorbell we would not know they are there. Or they call while they are standing at our door from an out of state number. We don’t answer numbers we don’t know because they are normally scammers. Do better!!!
*Edit after I contacted corporate I received a call from the regional manager and he was really nice listened to me and made it sound as if change where coming to happen like hiring drivers and stop using Door dash. We had noticed improvement but as of late the serve has some how manage to get worse and the food quality is lacking. They can't seem to operate a cutter so the pizza we get has extreme differences in slice side. Some almost width of a pencil and other almost the size of 3 slices. If you look at the website and think bone wings look appetizing don't get confused. You are just going to get some microwaved nuggets with a tablet of sauce in the middle. I can't believe how little cares are given.
** Edit yet again. Order pizza from on line At 2 for a 4 delivery. Revived a call at 4 that way we ordered can't be order and wife changes order. Now at 5 we called back and we where told we could not change the order and there was no knowledge of where our order even was. Now we had to cancel the order hopefully we will get...
Read moreOrdered a custom Pizza Bowl online. Pulled up to drive through 2-3 min after estimated pickup time. Waited a few min with no response. Noticed the "ring for service" button and pressed it. No response for an additional 2-3 min. Pulled around and parked out front. Went up to the door and found it locked. One of the employees made gestures indicating I needed to go through the drive through. Went back to drive through and pressed the button. No response for 1-2 min. Honked my horn in case the button was broken. Still no response for 1-2 min. Knocked on the window and finally got a response. The employee who came to the window responded with profanity. I was pretty irritated and responded in kind. After a short mutually unproductive conversation the employee said they were too busy pulling pizzas out of the oven to respond to the drive through. Employee finally asked for the name on the order. After giving my name the employee said the order was canceled and sarcastically added "Have a nice day." Clearly this store has serious management issues. There were at least 3 employees in the store and during the 6+ minutes I was there not one of them could be bothered to take 30 seconds to come to the window and indicate they busy and needed a few...
