Tonight was the 2nd time I went to this place. 1st time I walked out immediately because the employee (with tons of attitude) informed me that it's carry out only. If I wanted to get food to take home - I would go thru a drive-thru. Tonight - we entered and the employee asked if it would be dine-in or carry out? We said "Dine-in" and sat down. She started doing something else and the grill cook then chastised her for seating customers instead of switching it to carry-out. She told him that she would switch it now and that she just wants to go home. A couple walked in the door shortly afterwards and she told them it's carry-out only. She was fumbling in her duties and was taking so long to start taking our order that the grill cook took notice and asked us if we had ordered yet? We said "no." The restaurant was not busy. She simply had no urgency. When she did finally decide to take orders - she went to the "carry-out" couple that came in well after us and began taking their order. The grill cook took notice and pointed out to her that we were here before them but she ignored that concept and took their order first and then ours. Then...nothing. The grill cook finished everything he had going on the grill and cleaned up his area then with nothing to do - turned around and noticed that we still had no food. He had to tell her to call our order in otherwise, it wasn't going to happen. They struggled to communicate our order and then finally started making it. Eventually we received part of our order. I had to point out what was missing and then had to request silverware (she handed me plasticware). Then I had to request syrup. The counter was very dirty and menu was greasy. The whole restaurant was not maintained at all and they took no pride in their duties. The experience was very poor and these employees simply do not care whether a customer comes...
Read moreWell this review is from past experiences so take it for what its worth, But from all my experiences I've had from years ago were all pretty decent, No problem with the food or the staff but in all the locations i was able to eat at they were pretty much all the same as far as the atmosphere which is why i only gave it 2 stars, Its like finding an old dusty ran down diner on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, Which always ends in something creepy or crazy happening in the movies📽️👽 lol Nah but seriously all of them are always in dire need of a makeover, and a few of them only had a few people inside when i went in, but one of them is packed all the time but i only went there once years ago, but it just seems no matter what time day or night that i drive past it they are always packed so thats good for them i guess, but at least two locations are the size of a one bedroom guest house so pretty small and you can see inside from the street and they all look dirty and very overdue for upgrades and if i was the owners i would seriously consider adding a little more to the size, Some paint, renovate the entire interior with new walls, lighting, curtains or shades, booths and tables and chairs etc etc but thats just my opinion from what i have been able to observe over the years, Other than that each experience i have had in each location the staff was very nice and the food was very good and cooked just how i ordered it, But at least in a couple locations i did feel like something other worldly was going to happen🛸, Maybe even the essence of the Twilight zone and Rod Serling 😵💫lol...
Read moreWaffle House experience mileage may vary but I have yet to have a bad experience. As a vegetarian who loves spending time with my partner creating meal experiences in places-at Waffle House, I can confidently say that this restaurant chain has something for everyone. While the menu may not be explicitly vegetarian-friendly, there are still plenty of delicious options available.
One of my go-to orders at Waffle House is their famous hash browns. They offer a variety of toppings, including cheese, grilled onions, and jalapenos, which make for a satisfying and flavorful meal. I suggest you double the hash browns.
Additionally, their grits are a tasty vegetarian option that can be paired with a side of toast.
One of the best things about Waffle House is the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to grab a late-night snack after a night out. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the overall vibe is just easy.
Overall, I highly recommend Waffle House for vegetarians looking for a casual spot to hang out with friends. The menu may not be entirely meat-free, but there are still plenty of delicious options available. Plus, the laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff make for a truly enjoyable...
