Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Indianapolis Airport East — Hotel in Indianapolis

Well I stayed there a few times and they got some good qualities but they also got bad qualities I like being in a room on the bottom floor on the end where there's only one of the room on one side of you but you're the last one on that side I don't like having somebody above me and then someone on each side of me as well so I asked to be on a corner room and the first couple of times I was in a room right next to the stairs and there was a lot of traffic going up and down them stairs and I'm not just talking walking normally I'm talking about stomping and throwing all of your weight in every one of your steps and this went on all day and all night it got to the point where I could tell if it was a kid or an adult and although there seem to be some smaller children the majority were adults who should know better but just have no respect for those around them since the first two to three times that I stayed there I was in the same room even though I knew it was going to be loud because of the staircase and the room was always clean and the bed sheets smell clean and you can tell they've been changed and the floor had been swept and mopped and whoever was cleaning the rooms at that time was doing a good job but the last time that I stayed there I was in a different room because my normal room was already rented so I asked to be if there was another room on the end like that so they put me and I believe room 109 which was next door to the staircase what's happened to be another staircase a little bit further down that side but this time the room was nice the bathroom was huge so I like the room and it's set up but the thing of it was is that bad had not been changed the sheets and pillowcases have not been changed there were blood stains on the sheets and on the pillow cases and I'm not just talking all dried brown blood I'm talking bright red blood I didn't say anything however because the next time that I stay there if it's like that somebody is getting out of bed and coming down there and cleaning my room because $65 $70 a night plus $100 deposit is a little bit high or pricey to be sleeping in a room that's got bugs or that's dirty but overall that's the hotel that I will continue to go to unless the price is too high like on race weekend or some other eventful weekend because I feel like I'm going to pay 50 to 60 dollars during the week on an average week but then here comes race weekend and for the same exact room I'm going to have to pay $250 plus a $100 deposit to stay in that exact same room, No way! The room was dirty.The environment was unsafe. There were clear signs of drug use on the night stand, blood stains on the wall, brown stains on the bed sheets as evidence of bedbugs. the door to the room was repeatedly dented from the inside and out, there were scratches and dents everywhere in the “newly renovated” room. bugs flew out of the bathroom when the door was opened. the bath tub was dirty. the room looked like it had never been disinfected and smelled the same. advertised as non smoking and smelled like smoke and sour mildew. definitely not a picky guest, just need somewhere clean and safe to sleep. this is not that place. the front desk is unable to help without management around, and as there was no manager on duty, i promptly left and found another place to stay. was offered a different room, but the treatment i received when bringing it to the front desk’s attention was negligent. as they are unable to process refunds, even when the room is visually disturbing and physically unsafe. edit: still havent been refunded despite the reply to this made by the owner. all replies are the same, as they just copy & paste the same generic apology to every guest that had a bad or unsafe time, and refuses to refund. this place lacks actual professionalism and accountability. a stunning 5 star review was posted around the same time that i received a response, so it can easily be assumed it was fabricated. was told i would receive a refund, the hotel is now dodging calls to process said refund. sketchy & should be condemned. do...

The room itself was fine. The negatives were plentiful. The road leading in was one big pothole, the responsibility of the city. But the motel driveway also needed a lot of work. When I made the reservation online, I was under the impression it was for a ground floor room. When I arrived, it was on the third floor and there was no elevator. I was too tired to argue. The outside areas were old and dirty. The most irritating thing was the morning of checkout. I received a text offering online checkout. I checked the box for 11am. At 10:20, there was a loud knock on the door. A motel employee rudely informed me that I was supposed to be out by 10:00. I told him that the listed motel policy was 11:00 and that was the time I had put down online. He insisted it was 10:00. I hurriedly packed and left. I informed the desk clerk that I would not be returning and would be filing a complaint with Wyndham. I will be checking my bank account to make sure I am not charged for an extra night.
