LOL. I vowed to never come here again a long time ago after every single interaction being horrible and my order being messed up in several ways every time without fail. Welp, today I figured it’s been a while so maybe they’ve gotten better and decided to try again bc I’m craving a Wendy’s salad and this is the closest location to my office. I had to clarify my order (just a harvest chicken salad. That’s it) twice to the girl taking my order because she kept confirming a completely different salad to me. Finally she told me to pull forward without giving me an order total. I get to the window and another worker confirms my order of again, a completely different salad. I told her nope, I’ve stated several times that I want the harvest chicken salad, not that hard. So she goes to the back and talks to someone, changes my order, and rings me up. I then pull up the next window where the next worker tries to confirm that I wanted no chicken in my salad... NOPE, never said that. So she talks to another worker and then tells me they don’t have chicken so it’s gunna be a minute for them to make some, and asks me “soo do you wanna wait, orrr..” she then gives me 2 sauce options to choose from and tells me to pull forward and wait. I waited for 20 minutes before someone came out with my food and told me that they gave me 2 completely different other sauces because they didn’t have either of the ones offered to me. What? They really come up with creative ways to mess every order up, or at least they try really hard to if you’re not on it and quadruple checking that they have it right. Read moreAttempted to have lunch here with my family. Ordered food, place was pretty dirty and out of a few things at condiment counter, but it was lunch time(no big deal). Sent my kids to wash their hands before eating and my daughter comes out and says “I can’t wash my hands”.... She tells me there is no soap dispenser and only a partially melted Wendy’s cup with soap in it. I verified this(took photo) and asked for a refund. I’m sure I came across standoffish, as this is what they provided for their customers. Anyway, when I told the manager, Frank, why I wanted a refund, he was immediately rude and said “well, the dispenser was just knocked down and the new comes Wednesday, so”! Then when he went to give me a refund, instead of using the register at the front counter, where we were. He took my bank card across the store where I could not see him. I obviously had a problem with that and other employees started getting rude with me too because I questioned why he took my card where I could not see him or my card.
I have already spoken to the district manager, corporate and the Board of Health. I want nothing more from this other than to warn others before eating at this particular location.
On the other hand, we ended up at Wendy’s on Southport Road and it was phenomenal! Clean inside and out, very clean restrooms, smiling faces greeted us as we came in, food and service was quick...
Read moreThe food is usually good but the service is terrible. I will again say I think the problem is with the levels of management the decide the pay levels. Pay your people more, I will get good service. I guarantee it.
Just took this down to one star from two... lived next to this Wendys for 13 years now and it just gets worse and worse. They need a store manager right now and not surprised. These corporate places need to take better care of their workers.
Yesterday I was being driven home after a procedure, coming out of anesthesia and made a huge order in the drive through (inside has been closed forever now, not b/c of Covid mind you) and didn't get a medium fry that was part of the order.
Literally had to wave at them to cut in line (i'm not waiting in line, i hadn't eaten in over 40 hours for them to fix their mistake) to get them to bring me out a new medium fry. No apology, no restitution, just a hear you go and an attitude like I did something wrong for calling them out. Get home... my 20 piece nugget only had 17 nuggets. They were kind of busy, but still, this is unacceptable.
Trying to call now and getting a busy signal. Not surprised yet again as more and more corporate chains seem to have phones taken off the hook. I wonder why that would be considering the terrible service...
