6 MONTHS AGO THEY WOULD HAVE RECEIVED A 5 STAR REVIEW FROM ME- TODAY-2 STARS...I'll gladly explain why...
I'm really disappointed how greedy the owners of this restaurant has become over the last several months. When I 1st discovered this place it was midnight and it was one of the few places still open on Doordash. The food ended up being really good and the portions were Great--- but the price is what made it a 5 star restaurant. It was the whole package. Plenty of good food that was very reasonably priced. WHAT MORE CAN ONE ASK FOR ?!! Made me happy😊 The 1st change in price was about 4 months ago....a 20 dollar meal went up to about 25ish dollars and the most recent change was abt a month ago. That $20 dollar meal that went up to $25ish is now $35 dollars..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THEY HAVE CUT THEIR PORTIONS BY 30-40 PERCENT. Example- 5 crab Rangoon that were 5 for $6 are now 3 for $6.20. That ratio is pretty much across the board. I do understand that inflation has put a strain on all of us BUT this type of change is GREED. EITHER RAISE YOUR PRICES OR REDUCE THE FOOD PORTIONS...Doing BOTH will backfire(as it is now). Fair prices create life long customers- high prices means its a once in awhile restaurant...when people can afford it. But if someone wanted to splurge this isn't where they would do so. COME ON WISANGGENI... MAKE IT MAKE SENSE- I use to order 2 to 3 times a week spending in total abt $150 dollars.. Lately, because of the drastic change, I've ordered 1 time(today) in 2.5 months. I can literally TASTE the change. More disappointment. Bad...
Read moreUpdate: photos are from 2nd time we came and husband had duck and I had a crispy chicken. So delish! My husband and I were on the hunt for our date night and stumbled upon this little slice of heaven. Thank goodness we did. The whole staff are just sweetie pies, the atmosphere was cozy, inviting and pretty. Each table felt private, even though there are no partitions, I felt like it was an intimate dining experience. Others promise this but we were in our own little world with just enough attention. But the food. 👏YOU GUYS👏 We started with Pastel, Lumpia and Batogi(? I may have botched this but it's the dumplings we chose fried with peanut sauce) as appetizers. omg everything was soooooo good I Didn't want it to end . But then came our grilled lamb kebabs and grilled red snapper. And it didn't have to end. And I was so happy to keep eating. The lamb had the perfect char and the snapper was so fresh. The presentation of each dish was amazing. So amazing that it needs to be a Michelan Star. I believe it so much that I'm going to somehow get you that star. Doing my research now. Also, can't wait to bri g...
Read moreTakes you right back to Indonesia! Very authentic, flavorful food with great portion sizes. Their homemade sambal (sauce) and all of their condiments are a true testament to the spices and flavor used in Indonesian cooking. We tried almost everything on the menu and loved it all. I enjoyed the Bala Bala app, and the crab Rangoon. The chicken sate (best peanut sauce I’ve ever had), beef rendang packed with flavor and has a great combination of sides) and Bakso (light broth with delicious crispy onions and the perfect ration of noodles to broth) were some of the favorites. The Mie Ayam and the other noodle dish were also spot on. Save room for desserts, you cannot go wrong with the ube spring rolls, keplon (coconut coated balls with palm sugar inside), banana Nutella spring rolls or the Martabak! They even did a special durian martabak for my sisters birthday and it was very good (if you like durian). Try this place next time you are thinking about Chinese or Thai food, it’s different but along similar lines. I know you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Ago and Putri were the nicest hosts and made us...
