The food was AWESOME! But I was very off put by the service we received . The cashier was the very rude, on more than one occasion and she tried to say she was our server. 1st they gave us menus with NO prices a few were listed for the alcohol 2nd they expect you to scan some bar code that’s on the table ( this gives people access to your phone and anything on your phone) in order to see their prices 3rd the server kept demanding that we scan that bar code thing! I told her not everyone is comfortable doing this... So with her eyes rolled she goes and gets me a price but it’s not an exact price(?) which I don’t understand but whatever I had to ask the price for everything! If you want my service you’ll need to provide me with your phone to access the menu or something else... you will not be gaining access to my personal information that’s on my phone! We were not given water, I had to ask for water The server was rude and I could have gotten mean back with her and hid her paper tablet she was writing orders on, but I took the high road and picked it up for her and told her “your welcome” when I handed it back to her! This place ruined a little girls birthday... they sang a song in Spanish, there was a sparkling candle in her dessert... and then they did the most appalling thing... they had aluminum foil with shaving cream or whipping cream on it and smashed it onto her face! The little girl was NOT happy about this and they ruined her day! You could tell by the look on her face! We were given the receipt... on the Reciept it had a non cash fee... we were paying with cash. I took a picture of this along with my cash up to the register and told the cashier that the tip would be the non cash fee. Then I remembered that I should get a receipt to prove I paid in cash! The cashier asked me why I needed a receipt... it’s none of her damn business...I asked for a receipt and I should get one!!! It was for proof of payment duh I paid in cash... don’t need to be turned in for not paying my bill. The cashier proceeded to be very mean and LIED saying she was our server... she was NOT our server it was another younger skinner lady. I definitely didn’t enjoy my time in this restaurant and I lost my appetite... I usually finish my meal or box it and take it home... not this time AND I didn’t finish the expensive Margarita I purchased... And if you do visit this restaurant and need wheelchair access don’t park in the handicapped spot closest to the street.. there is not an access ramp there... the ramp is down further This was not my first time in here since they are under new management but I tell you what it will be my last time... Oh yeah and they don’t serve LUNCH menu on Sunday... the menu doesn’t say this.. Sorry but not sorry Fiesta jalapeño! Over all food awesome! Service : by the server I believe she was possibly new or language barrier and I would have probably been more patient if she just explained this in the beginning...honesty never hurts and is usually helpful Service by cashier; she should not be working with customers...Not pleasant and lies! You do not need her ruining your business

The waitress was very nice and apologized for how loud the music was. She did her best to talk over the music even with a heavy accent. Which usually I'm good at understanding Spanish accents but with the loud music I only caught every other word. The food was very good and we were very surprised. There was a bit of a wait but it was extremely busy so that was to be expected. The waitress never let us run out of chips and salsa or drinks. So kudos to her. I am pretty picky about mexican food as I grew up and lived 30 years in the Mexican Cooridor in Des Moines. So when I say that I would most definitely go back to this restaurant that is saying a lot. The meat was very tender and tasted very good. It wasn't to spicy but wasn't bland at all. The salsa and the rice were more on the safe side for me. But that is pretty common in most restraunts. Not everyone can handle a lot of spices. So mild is ok when it isnt at home. I am happy to find a Mexican restraunt in Indianola that I can get some good Mexican food from without having to drive to Des Moines all the time. So 1st time customer who will be a repeat customer for sure.

The food was great, the ambiance was nice, and the food portion was intense. Definitely, each plate is shareable in my eyes. I will say, the menu prices are wrong, the servers don't tell you that in advance. Lunch was 10 dollars a plate, and my daughter's was 11. Bill came, each lunch item was 12, and hers 13. Just saying. So, a 2 dollar increase on each plate with no warning. Not okay. They do seem to have a huge variety of drinks and food, and lots of their choices are kind of pricey for my liking compared to other mexican places, but I'm sure it's worth it. They are clean and fast.

I was extremely disappointed in the service and food. I took a friend there for her birthday last night and immediately I was turned off because of the attitude of the person that sat us. It was a huge inconvenience for her because we wanted to sit inside.

Then our waItress came and it went downhill from there. I bought a couple shots before the food and we did the whole selfie thing. Then we got our chips, cheese dip and bean and cheese dip. I asked only for a thing if bean dip. I did not want to cheese dip. My friend had that. She did not explain what it was. We didn't have silverware so I went to another empty table to get some.

The food then came and my friends was wrong and half mine was missing. The guy acted irritated that my friend did not want the burrito as they served it. But he took it back and got her another. My food came and it was all piled on top of each other and smothered in beans and other stuff. I had a tostada and a taco and there was really only one difference between the 2. One was flat. The meat is bland.

My chile relleno was buried under an enchilada and tamale and i couldn't really tell what was what. I bought a 2 more shots after dinner and they come bringing a sombrero and our 2 shots. They ended up shoving whipped cream in my friends face getting it up her nose and everything. Typically birthday girl gets a free shot or ice cream but nope. Nothing except a messy face.

It cost 100 for 4 shots, 2 dinners and 2 drinks. I did leave a tip but she would have probably gotten 4 times what I left had she been a decent waitress.

I highly recommend NOT....
