I used to like coming here, but lately they've implemented a 30 minute limit rule that they say is for 'everyone', but seems directed at homeless folks, many who are their biggest and most frequent customers. We spend what little money we have here and we're all being punished collectively for other's actions.
We're not a one size fits all scenario. Instead of banning the people who are behaving badly (they know who, they have them on camera and have said so themselves) they're lazy and punishing all of us when most of us mind our own, especially the night manager. He's acted condescending towards us all for... existing? Taking up space while still throwing money at the establishment, but they say it's because corporate wants to 'conserve space'.
Conserve space for who exactly? It's a ghost town in there because everyone isn't welcomed; there's plenty of seating available and it's never insanely busy in there. They'll allow the families with screaming unsupervised kids in there for three hours, making the other two entire customers inside ears bleed, but the minute anyone with a backpack steps in it's like the countdown starts ticking before our rear ends even hit the booth seat.
Night crew especially wants to be on a power trip while messing up orders lately which is like, fine on its own merit, it happens, but with everything else it just feels specifically targeted. This was a last safe space for anyone open after 9PM to sit in A/C, relax, read and have peace while working on something, charge electronics while buying a soda or a burger, but we can't even do that anymore without being rushed and told 'it's a business'. We're even threatened to be banned all together like we're kids because we just needed to (checks notes) use the bathroom? Get water? Buy food and have time to eat it? God forbid. Sound the alarms, everyone.
Yeah, it's a business all right. And y'all are doing bad business by shooting yourselves in the foot here, majorly. Don't be surprised when sales tank and your precious corporate office asks why, and starts laying people off because they can't afford to keep you guys working anymore. It is what it...
Read moreMe and my 18yr old niece were coming back from the Coachella Festival around 11:30pm. As we walked around there were no open food places besides Carl's Jr. So we decided to go there because their sign says they are open 24/7. Me and my niece are from out of town, and we did not have a rental car, we had to travel on feet. As we walked up to the drive thru, no one took our order, and no one even spoke to us. We were confused because the sign said "Open 24 hours." So we decided to just walk to the window so they could take our order. We were told they ONLY take orders with cars. I let them know that we weren't from around here and we had no car, and we were very hungry. The manager, by the name of Ivan (if that is his real name), told us Carl Jr. Policy says they can only take car order. I politely told him, it's just me and my niece. We just needed some food for the night. He was very rude and said NO and then slammed the window. Again, very rude. So I opened the window to ask for his last name as well so I could speak to a manager about their car only the policy he was speaking about. Then he threatened to call the cops on me and my niece because I opened the window to ask for additional information. If this is a policy, signs need to be put up, especially if this happens on more than one occasion. Me and my niece were not able to get food that night. I was very polite but the manager was very rude. We are paying customers just like anyone else, I just don't like the way it...
Read moreJust had one of the worst experiences at this Carl’s Jr location. I do not know if the guy at the drive thru was having a bad day but his customer service was terrible. I understand that the speaker was not working and we had to order at the window, we did not mind waiting but as soon as I got to the window the customer service was not there. No greeting and very low one worded responses. I asked if we can upgrade the fries to the loaded bacon one in the combo and I got a quick low response “No” I could barely hear him say no and I understand if we can’t substitute the food item but without the rude-tone response. I also asked if there was any room temperature water for my daughter and same thing a low quick response “No” and again I understand if they do not have any but his response made me feel like I was a bother to him which demonstrates no respect for the individual. Finally when we paid and received the food he hands it to us without saying anything, walks back to kitchen with the window left open and I’m waiting for some sort of communication indicating that I have my complete food order. I had to try and get his attention and ask him if that was everything, I do not understand why it is hard to just say “ He’s your order have a goodnight “. The food was not that great but not terrible, the burgers were good but the fries were mushy and the chicken stars kids meal was cold. I also did not get my bottle of water for...
