Check in was easy - we came in around 12:30 AM after a 5.5 hour drive. There was a little bit of a wait but the front desk clerk was apologetic and answered all our questions. Lots of parking in front and back, and the room we had was HUGE (King size bed with pull out sofa). The TV had a little welcome message on it, the room was cleaned and ready for us. The bed is INSANELY comfortable. Didn’t wake up once in the night. The bathroom is big enough for a couple to be in there at the same time. The shower was spacious and had a few shelves (bonus you can shave without having to sit on the floor). I couldn’t hear much noise outside or in neighboring rooms during our one night stay. Breakfast was from 6-10 and was a hot breakfast. Their waffle station was amazing - loads of syrup flavors and choices. Plenty of food still there when we came down at 9:50 for breakfast. We weren’t rushed out right at 10 (other hotels have done this to us). Asked how late we could check out and were given an additional 2 hours for a late check out. No additional charge and able to check out at 1 PM! Made our stop on holiday travels so relaxed. Thank you Hampton - we plan to come back again.

We booked the early check-in which the Hotel is having people pay for 40$. Nevertheless we had to wait 3 hours to get a room. We got a smoking room, even though we specifically asked for a non-smoking room. In the room there was the TV saying “Hello ….”. Where my name was supposed to be, there was a botched version of my name. The wrong name that was standing there means thief in German (my country of origin). After complaining to the staff, all I heard was “We will get you a room ready in the next 10-15 minutes.”. As of the moment I am typing this, one more hour has passed and we still have gotten no room. After having asked to speak to the manager on duty (account to the sign at the entrance), Mr. Pedro Figueroa - he was not there. Instead a woman - obviously not being Mr. Pedro Figueroa, but the lady who kept telling me the room will be ready in 10 minutes for hours, appeared again just to tell me the same story again. I am furious and upset - and understandably so. Edit: We have a new room now - cleaning staff did an amazing job. Credit where credit is due. Changed the rating for the room from 1 to 3 and service from 1 to 2

Updated review (2023): Still a very nice, comfortable, and safe place to stay. I was able to have a room on hold by supplying my rewards info as I didn't have access to my card to reserve the room (it was about 8pm, I was driving and only about half an hour away from hotel, but tired from an 8-hr drive). Staff are very friendly, polite and professional. They offer clean, comfortable rooms; a small business center area; free wifi for guests; 24-hr coffee/tea station; fitness center; pool and jacuzzi; mini-convenience snack station; breakfast bar is between 6am to 10am; and, check out time is 11am. Review from 2021: Friendly, professional staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Employees follow COVID-19 mask protocols as well as supply guests with plenty of sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizers within the lobby and continental breakfast areas. Nice breakfast selection, range of cold and hot foods set in buffet-style where they allow the guests to serve themselves.

O STARS!!!!!! Booked this hotel for a special wedding block. We arrived at 1:45 PM to see if we could check in early since the reception started at 4:00 PM. Front desk clerk, Karen, gave us our room number and told us it hadn't been cleaned yet. Both front desk clerks, Yadira and Karen, instructed us to come back at check-in promptly at 3:00 PM. We left and came back promptly at 3:00 PM. When we got to the front desk, Yadira said our room wasn't ready and our room wasn't guaranteed to be ready until 5:00 PM. I reminded her that we were there at 1:45 and followed her directive to return at 3:00 PM. She had a very dismissive and rude attitude toward my husband and me. They had an entire room full of angry wedding guests!!!!!! We asked to speak to the manager and she pointed to the business card on the desk, so I called the phone number to complain. Karen answered and hung up the phone and said with a snarky tone, " I told you our manager will be in tomorrow." I asked for the corporate phone number and Yadira said, "You can get in on the website." I told her to write it it out for me and she told me that Pedro, the general manager, would be in at 7 AM the next morning. We get to our hotel room and experienced so many problems. 1-the fan would not turn off, 2-the nightstand had no electricity and a burnt out lightbulb, 3-the thermostat was out of order, 4-the window shade would not work. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! We waited 2 hours for a dysfunctional room. We were also late to the wedding reception. This place is a hell hole. Upon checking out, I asked to speak to Pedro and Yadira tells me, "I told you he'd be here at 7 PM yesterday." Those we're not her words at all!!!! I will be calling the corporate office tomorrow and making a formal complaint. The desk clerks have no customer service etiquette. There is no manager on site to resolve issues and the room was...

First, the nice things: the hotel is new and inviting. The front desk staff is very friendly and outgoing, the property is clean and nice, the rooms are big, comfortable, and modern. But that's what i have come to expect from Hampton Inn, which for years has been my "go to" hotel whenever I am traveling on the road for business or short vacations. I've stayed at Hampton Inns all over the U.S. But this location was a BIG disappointment. First off, the pillows were paper-thin...and when I asked the front desk for extra pillows, they told me that they don't have any. Second, this hotel is right next to the freeway and is VERY noisy, which is a surprise, since I have stayed at many Hampton's next to freeways and that has never been a problem before. Third, the walls are so thin you could hear what the guest in one room was watching on TV and the conference call / zoom meeting the guy in the next room was having. I had to wear ear earplugs in order to sleep. Fourth, the breakfast biscuits were so hard, you could throw them at a window and break glass and the eggs tasted like something created in a test-tube. Epic breakfast fail. I left in the morning for a day of work and when I returned that night, the room had not been made up and the towels hadn't been replaced -- I complained to the cheery fellow at the front desk who shrugged, gave me some fresh towels, and said, "oh well, they must have forgot to do your room." I am a big Hampton's Inn fan, but if this was my first experience with the hotel, I doubt I would...

We just got back from a two night stay at the Hampton Inn in Indio, California. It was an excellent stay. The property seems very new. Check in was a breeze. Check in time was 3 PM but we arrived early - about 12:30 PM . The front desk clerk checked and they had a room available – the room was actually a bit of an upgrade as it was on the top floor.|The room was very large – the bathroom was well lit and had lots of counter space. TV was large and worked well. Bed was king sized and very stable – we loved it. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and was quite fast. |The A/C and heat both worked perfectly - easy to adjust with a wall mounted thermostat.|The room was clean and very quiet,|Breakfast was typical Hampton – small omelettes, hash browns, sausages, porridge, cereals, toast and bagels, and a waffle maker. Coffee and juice.|Lots of parking.|Lots of shopping and restaurants within about 1/2 mile. Probably a bit too far to walk.|The only complaint was that they only clean the rooms every other day. That’s fine for making the bed, but we needed replacement towels. When I phoned the front desk in the evening, they had fresh towels for us within about 5 minutes.|So all in all...
