To follow up on my past review , Woodsprings Hotel charged me even though I didn't stay there even after I canceled with the front desk clerk and never receiving a room card/key.Woodsprings informed me that I would get refunded in 10 business days In which never happened. When disputing the charge with my Credit card co., they apparently gave them false information resulting in not getting refunded. Now that I have proof with a receipt that was never signed in which I now have to send to my Credit Card co.Mark the General Manager of Woodsprings , Indio is refusing to refund me because according to him, it happened four months ago. It's like they flat out stoled from me and are making it as difficult as possible to get refunded. This whole ordeal began with poor customer service and it continues, all the way to the top. Last week my AC went out and had to get a Hotel for two days. I got on Expedia and saw that the rooms were $158.00 and pet friendly. My wife stayed back to pack for her and my 93 year old mother in law who I took with me because she just got out of urgent care . When I called to book the room. They quoted $50 deposit and $10 a day for the Dog. When I got there, it turned out to be $70 for the Dog and $100.00 deposit that would be refunded to my account in 10 business days. Raising my total to $350.00 with taxes. Even though I was frustrated, I decided to get the room anyway. With my Mother in law in the lobby and my wife at home packing, my wife had both of their ID'S. The clerk up front wouldn't let me check in unless she saw everyone's ID despite me explaining the circumstances. Since the clerk informed me she didn't run my credit card, I went elsewhere. Turns out they did run my credit card. I was able to get my money back but after contacting the credit card company, they had to cancel my card and issue me a new one. It was a frustrating day for me, but despite that I did my best to maintain...
Read moreThe building itself is clean and smells great. Rooms are amazing and so is the layout. The staff on the other hand is a completely different story. The employee at check-in was very polite and handled everything perfectly. Fast forward to âbedtimeâ (9:30 on a Saturday) we are unable to get our baby to sleep because of the loud music coming from the room over. We went down to the front desk and politely asked the front desk if they could call them to lower the volume a smidge and we thought that would do itâŚ.. boy were we wrong.. Not 3 minutes later and the music is louder this time and now doors are slammed next door.. Went down to front desk AGAIN since the phones do not connect you with the front desk and asked if they could let them know we have a baby trying to sleep and ask for mercy since weâre exhausted and just want to sleep.
The staff member picked up the phone while letting out a huge breath of annoyance before I could finish my sentence and said âStay here while I call them so you can see Iâm tryingâ Ummm ok? Not necessary but I obliged.
They answered the phone and I could hear them screaming through the phone saying they already turned it down and itâs not that loud. He hung up the phone and turned to me saying âitâs not that loud, Iâm not going to call them again.â
I turned around to walk back to my room feeling defeated and the employee then shouted across an empty lobby at me â Sir donât go do anything about it yourself eitherâ Iâm clearly a womanâŚ. With a baby⌠and a husband⌠Although it mightâve been accidental, he didnât correct it or apologize..
Extremely unprofessional, not in the least bit interested in helping me. Iâll be calling to file a formal complaint on the employee in hopes another family will be treated with more dignity and respect than this
Use caution staying here if you need an actual...
Read moreMy experience was terrible. The hotel is infested with cockroaches. From the moment I walked in, I saw cockroaches in the lobby. I mentioned it to the front desk, but they completely ignored what I said. It was already midnight, we were tired, and it was too late to go to another hotel.||They didnât give us the room we had reserved and paid extra for. I had to sleep on a sofa bed even though I explained that I have back problems and that the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. At first, Carlos at the front desk said it was my fault for booking through Expedia, but later admitted that the elevator was broken and housekeeping wasnât able to clean many rooms, so they didnât have our reserved room available.||Both Carlos, who was at the front desk that night, and someone named Cassie were rude and dismissive. It was a horrible experience. The next morning, I spoke with Autry, who offered me a refund for the whole incident, but he never entered it into the system. So, when Expedia called to confirm the refund, another employee refused to process it because there was no note in the computer.||In short, this hotel is run by irresponsible staff who have no interest in doing things right. They donât care about anything and are rude and dismissive....
