Pablos Tacos & Beer — Restaurant in Indio

Ridiculous. My daughter ordered a taco with sauce saying she didn’t want it spicy. The server said it wasn’t, my daughter got it, it was spicy and she couldn’t eat it.

My mom ordered tacos with a sauce on it, she realized the sauce wasn’t on it. I told the server, the server had to check with the kitchen and see if it came with it. She confirmed it was supposed to and the cook was new and forgot. Instead of offering to fix it or give us a discount, the server shrugged it off.

She also never came by to refill our drinks, so that’s a nice touch.

My food was bland and flavorless.

I am writing this currently waiting for over 20 minutes being done with our food to get a check and a to go box for one of my other kids food, but of course that seems too much to ask.

The food was literally just ok. It was a watered-down version of mexican food. Not much flavor. I ordered the carne en su jugo, and as an appetizer queso and chips. The carne en su jugo was served with a side of what looked like green enchilada sauce, that you poured over a bowl of bean, carne asada, and pieces of bacon. As if they used the same ingredients for most of their dishes. This was not prepared as a soup, as it should be. The cheese appetizer was cold and flavorless. The chips, old. It could be that we showed up 2 hours before closing, that things weren't good, and no more food would be prepared? I don't know. We had a large party, and all agreed that the food was just ok. Ordered a burrito around 9pm. The Beautiful lady behind the register took care of me. Burrito was $ 5.38 ! that is unheard of now a days There keeping it reasonable so that’s good.

Only complaint the way the burrito was put together. Who ever was in the kitchen did a very lazy job. They just tossed it together didn’t put any effort into it. Only issue because all the beans were in one corner and all the meat on one side so I ate through just meat first then last half of the burrito I was eating only beans.
