If you’re a burger lover, especially when it comes to lamb burgers, you absolutely have to check out this place in Palm Springs, CA! It brings back those warm memories of when Fuddruckers was a staple in our lives, with its inviting atmosphere and quality food. This spot really nails that classic vibe by using top-notch meat and crafting their burgers with love and consistency.
I got to try both their lamb burger and the BBB (Beef Bacon Burger), and oh man, they were both amazing! But let me tell you, the lamb burger was the star of the show—it was super juicy and packed with vibrant flavors that really popped. And their burger buns? They’re not your run-of-the-mill buns; they use generous ciabatta bread from a local bakery that really elevates each burger.
While I was there, I had a lovely chat with one of the owners, a warm and welcoming woman. She shared that they source their meat from two different suppliers to create their own unique patties. Plus, those ciabatta buns really enhance that fresh, homemade feel!
Don’t forget to ask about their homemade sauces when you visit! One of their spicy sauces really caught my attention with its subtle sweetness. Now, I'm not usually one for sweet flavors, but it added a delightful balance to the heat that a lot of folks would appreciate. You should definitely give it a try and see how it complements your burger!
The restaurant is run by a super friendly husband-and-wife team, and you can tell they take pride in keeping the place spotless. The vibe is modern and inviting, and best of all, the prices are totally reasonable—no need to worry about breaking the bank!

Read moreI read the reviews so I decided to try this local Indio restaurant since we were passing through. It’s a clean, quaint little place and the staff was very friendly. I love that everything is made fresh and from scratch. There are no microwaves on sight! When I looked at the menu is when I realized that this little restaurant, after three years, doesn’t have an identity.
Their dishes consisted of Indian, Asian, Italian and American inspired food. It was hard to make a decision that would really help me to understand why they were so highly rated. My father, who would be indecisive with only two items on the menu, settles on the creamy chicken and rice and I got the cheesesteak with a side of creamy rice.
The food made it out in about 15 minutes and was served on black disposable plates. The cheesesteak looked like a good size sandwich, but the side of creamy rice looked like white steamed rice. My fathers meal covered most of his small plate and it honestly looked like a dish that my wife makes at home quite often and my father confirmed that it tasted a lot like it too. It was good, but not great. My cheesesteak was also good, but not great. I have definitely had much better. The rice was bland and come to find out creamy rice is only rice that has been cooked in milk instead of water.
I honestly wanted to love this place, but the reality was that I just didn’t. It was average and I don’t know if I would go again when passing through. They have a great concept, but they really need to decide what genre of food they are going to focus on to...
Read moreJust dropped by this place to see why it has such good ratings. First off, I always look up health inspection reports for every restaurant I go to ahead of time because I have a weak stomach and have gotten hit by foodborne illnesses (poisoning) before due to unsafe food practices. This place has had perfect or near perfect scores in their recent reports for the last number of years. Let's get to the food, I was told the most ordered items were the smoked brisket, rice with creamy chicken, and pulled pork, which I ordered. The smoked brisket was prep and slow cooked to perfection because the meat was very tender, fell off the fork, the fat section easily separated from the meat, and the flavor was good without any additional sauces (but amazing with BBQ sauce). The accompaniment of a cut of bread and under seasoned coleslaw was underwhelming, but thank goodness they nailed the brisket. The creamy rice and chicken dish was surprisingly great. It had good flavor (not too strong or land) and very straightforward delicious dish that you can just eat right up. I wish it would have had some greens or vegetables to accompany it for a more healthy balance, but it was fine as it was. The employees were very helpful and attentive when answering questions and checking in while I was dining in. The pricing is good, not too pricey, especially if you compare it to the quality of food (specifically the meat) you would get at a nice smoke/steakhouse. Definitely see why the reviews are so good. They...
