One star only because I couldn't give zero. Holy cow where to begin...
I made a pretty simple order online, because I love the 2 two-topping pizzas for 5.99 deal. I ordered one thin crust 3 topping pizza and an order of 8 plain wings. My estimated wait time was 30-40 minutes.
So as I watch that beautiful tracker, awaiting my lunch... I notice it has been more than 20 minutes, and the pizza isnt even in the oven!! Luckily I was distracted with some work so I didnt get furious (yet). Then I looked down and it had been 50 minutes already so I needed to check on my order...
And sure enough it says it had been delivered. (funny story, the delivery guy has to go to our secretary's desk and I get called when they get there... so I knew it had not actually been delivered). Now I'm mad. So I call the store, which starts with a recording telling me EVERY special they have... 2 mintues in I press "0" hoping that works... it did.
I get an employee who looks up my order and says it should have been delivered. I told her that it has said delivered for over 15 mintues now (10 of which I have been on hold with you) and it has in fact NOT been delivered. She then informs me the driver left at 12:12pm. I should note here that it was 12:40 and I work less than three miles from this store.
She then offers to get her manager. She politely tells me she will not put me on hold but leave the phone open and get a manager. Then... the hold music starts... and a new person answers the phone... then I have to start over. Then THEY wont even look up my order by my number, but instead want me to give me the address... so I ask for the manager, explain I have already talked to someone and need the manager. Then I am told the manager isnt in today. (I doubt it) this apathetic employee just holds on to the phone with no comments or apologies for the ridiculousness of the service so far.. but just gives me a "so... what do you want me to do about it" approach. (now I am furious)
So at about 12:56pm (over an hour and ten minutes after my order) the delivery guy gets here. I complain that his tracker was wrong, as it showed my pizza as delivered almost 30 minutes before it was actually delivered. I told him he is super late and he had the nerve to ask me if I ordered online, because "they have different delivery times" I told him YES I did... and your delivery time said it would be 30-40 minutes not 80 minutes. Also, your store told me you left at 12:12 so I have not idea what you were doing for the past half hour or more but be sure to pass along to your manager that this is the worst run Dominoes I have ever experienced.
It was seriously as if the entire store watched the Dave Chappelle "Popcopy" training video. "Why would you treat the customer that way... because F'em... that's why.
Sad part is this is the third order I have had to call and track down and complain about from this store. That, however, is my fault... but it's a mistake I will not make again.
Almost forgot... since my food was in the delivery guys car for over 30 minutes.. all the food was cold and my wings were...

But there was a mistake with the order so I called to get my order delivered because it had been accidentally ordered as for carry out. The representative from Dominos at La Brea changed my order to be delivered as I had wished and thought I had initially pressed but he never specified what my order was or repeated my order since I had said that I wouldn't use the coupon that initially was applied but only available for carry out; buy one pizza get the other free. I had expected to only get 1 pizza and a primavera pasta which instead I got 2 and a primavera pasta. I figured perhaps the initial order of 2 pizzas and one pasta had been delivered and it wasn't what I wanted but I had settled until I saw that the second pizza had meat. One pizza was the all cheese one and the other one was a pacific veggie, and the primavera pasta: that is what I had initially ordered and that's what I got EXCEPT one of them was a completely different pizza with MEAT. A little historical context about me I don't consume/ can not have meat, I have always ordered pizza from here and this has been by far one of my worst experiences with dominos. I called the facility and they had no type of explanation, or even any concern for the customer (me), they did not take my complaint into consideration or even acknowledge it, as a matter of fact they didn't apologize for the mistake they simply said that since I had ordered online there wasn't anything they could do. Well in my opinion you could start by considering my complaint, the customer is always right and should always be helped and assisted as best as they can. I work in the food service industry and this is no way to treat a customer. Read moreWe ordered pizza and chicken tenders and cheesy bread through the app and opted for them to deliver it to our car (contactless delivery). The app even asks you as to where you want them to put the pizza such as, in the passenger side, or in the trunk etc. Upon arriving at the parking lot, I clicked the button on the app that said I was there and the app says that it is received and to put my hazard lights on so they can find me. It also states that the pizza will be out shortly.
I managed to find a space directly in front of the door where I can see people coming and going. I see delivery driver after delivery driver coming and going. I see people walking up to the delivery window, ordering pizza and then returning to pick up the same pizza that they ordered. After sitting there for a while I decide I need to find out what's wrong with my pizza why has it not been delivered to me in the 45 minutes that I've been sitting there.
I go up to the window and ask where the pizza is and the guys like oh it's right here it's been done for a while. I asked him about the app and even show him on the app where it says that it will be delivered to the car. He goes and looks on his screen and says oh we don't have any record of that. So now because either the app screwed up, for an employee screw up I am now forced to take home cold pizza which I ended up not eating because it was disgustingly cold by the time I got home.
I only wish I would have thought to make them make me a new pizza since it had been sitting for the 45 minutes that I was waiting for them to deliver...
