We were impressed by the atmosphere and after reading the reviews on Google, we decided to give it a try. But unfortunately, it has been a total disappointment from every aspect. I ordered the ice tea but it tasted like nothing, really like nothing… it is just brown water with ice… not any tea flavor and was not sweet neither, no Nestle iced tea flavor, no lemon flavor… I have no idea what I was drinking … but I still drank a third of it just to give it the benefit of doubt and to try my best to see if there is any flavor at all - nope, no flavor, I drank brown iced water.
The tacos were just some dried out meat with a bunch of onion on top, not tender, not flavorful, not juicy… cannot even taste what the meat was seasoned with…. Maybe it was the end of day and there only some leftover … no idea. The beans and salad were good, standard.
The tamale was also dry and no flavor… before this I have never had a bad tamale… I started to doubt if my palette had some problem … but my boyfriend felt the same.
The waiter maybe was tired and he was not patient at all, we asked questions on some options on the menu and got interrupted every time. No facial expression, no smile… I cannot believe this is a Mexican restaurent… normally they are super nice no matter what… at the end he came over with the Pos machine in his hands and asked us « hi guys ready for dessert? » and we simply said no thanks (considered how disappointing the food was) and he dropped the machine on our table before we finish the sentence.
I regret passing on the tacos food trucks and spent a fortune for the much much subpar tacos in this restaurant…. Anyways, I hope there was a reason and it is not always like that. But unfortunately, we will not return despite other good reviews and despite living in the...
Read moreThis Place was recommended by my brother but this is probably my 1st and last time at this restaurant to start off I tried to order I tried to my family's dinner Through a 3rd party app called caviar an enchilada combination plate $12.99, Carna asada burrito $13.99 , 3 ground beef crispy tacos and 2 shredded beef crispy tacos at $3.99 Totaling about $46 before tax. But since I didn't have a log on to the caviar app. I ditched that plan and called them on the phone to see if I can order to go the young lady answered yes I put my order in. When I got to pick up my order the price went from $46 to $65. I paid and walked out but I kept thinking something had to be wrong. I went back in asked to speak to a manager she claimed she was the manager. I told her how from one app to coming into the restaurant that the price was a whole $20 more. So the enchilada combination was $15.50 the Carna asada burrito was $15 and each taco was $5 She said to me well the price is about to change anyway I said but it's not at this moment and you're telling me that the app price is cheaper than walking into the restaurant I said that doesn't even make any sense. I walked out again Once home the crispy tacos were now soggy, my boyfriend liked his burrito, also the chips with no salsa was a little stale and not...
Read moreHorrible food, (old Lady ) owner extremely rude & biased. This is the one on la brea , the fiesta Martin on Florence just as bad ,not to mention very dirty tables they wipe with old dirty rags with waiters and waitresses that cannot understand what your saying when ordering and get correct.
Ordered beef vegetable soup & get Rock hard carrots, vegtables with a small slice of beef.enchiladas taste like tomato paste and tortilla ,no flavor bland food BUT EXPENSIVE & prices keep going up while our jobs and paychecks are going down.
Skimpy servings on way overpriced menu. Looks like the general relief center in downtown L.A. on taco tuesdays.
Waiters & waitresses coped negative attitudes on a few occasions because myself & a few customers who could not speak Spanish got frustrated when they could not get a correct order due to language barrier.
Do yourself a favor and go to (Bravos on Manchester Ave city of Inglewood around the corner best menudo bar none and all good breakfast on point )or (Mariscos tijuana On Praire Ave. & marine Ave. food is 🔥) or (#1 EL ABAJENO restaurant in Culver City on Inglewood Blvd & Culver Blvd ( The best).
