Not too sure whats going on at Puerto Nuevo with the food but something has changed to make me rethink this place as my go to for breakfast. The service and staff are always friendly and thats a big plus in todays climate, but the breakfast burrito has twice gotten me sick. The last time it was a turkey sausage and after a couple of bites I had to throw it away. Thinking that it was just something else that didnt sit right with me I didnt think it was the breakfast. A few weeks later (today) I tried the regular sausage breakfast burrito, and I didnt feel right again. I opened the burrito and it wasnt cooked thru, Its suppose to come with home fries (diced or chunky cooked potatoes), but this was some hash brown type monstrosity that was not cooked all the way, some were clunked together while other parts were solid, the eggs and what I guess is the cheese didnt look right ether. Im going to have to stay away from the place and hope that they get better cooks and prepare the...
Read moreI've only had breakfast here and as far as I'm concerned their pancakes are the only pancakes i will ever eat! They're just so good! Soft and buttery. Hasbrowns are always well done and seasoned. Also I had no idea toast could be so ridiculously delicious. Seriously! I don't know if it's the butter they use or the type of bread but it has a distinct flavor. You have to have to try it to see what I mean. Something I love about this place is that they have fresh veggie/fruit juices. I get the carrot, kale, Celery and pinapple juice i highly recommend it! Service is another plus. There's always someone coming by asking if you'd like more coffee or just to check on you. The place is small but cozy and if it's a nice day you can always sit outside. Will go back and try...

Service: Because the menu was fairly large, we had a hard time deciding. The cashier was so helpful with all the options, suggesting things, making adjustments, etc.. they even came by to check on us after we got our food.
Food: I really enjoyed my food, the chips were still crunchy for the chilaquiles, and the rice and beans were good. The Burrito came with a side of chips and salsa, and since the Burrito was pretty big, we had the other half to go (still tasted good the next day) I gotta come back...
