This is a great neighborhood park. My pup loves it so much. We used to go daily when we lived closer. My landlords decided they didn't like me having a dog, so this was the closest park for us. We moved a little further away, and we try to go as often as we can. This park is wide open. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field, lots of picnic tables, and space for gatherings of all kinds. The grounds are very well kept, and I find this impressive being that the park covers a lot of ground, from north to south and east to west. There is also a play area for children with all of the regular playground equipment. This area is also well taken care of. At the upper area of the park on the east side there is an outdoor exercise section. There is a great variety of workout equipment for all parts of the body. This equipment is permanently grounded and very sturdy. There is a little of everything at this local park including a Senior Center just south directly across the street from the park. There is ample parking no matter how many events are going on. One recommendation that I do have is to keep your visits to the park during daylight hours. Which is pretty much the same everywhere...

Cute neighborhood park. I went here to lounge on a picnic blanket with my friend who lives down la brea. It was well shaded and relaxing. There’s free street parking along the perimeter of the block but if there’s events, you will have to park residential. There’s an amphitheater with seating for 200+, plenty of park tables(possibly 20) which you could reserve, a basketball court, play ground with swings and a tennis court. There’s a restroom! I didn’t use it, but there were two available. There weren’t too many dogs that use the park so it was pretty clean and smelled like bbq. Wish I...

My family grew up at this park. My father was a MASTER MASON GARRISON LODGE MEMBER UNTIL HIS DEATH . YET THIS PARK REPRESENTED FAMILY CULTURE AND TRADITION. THE PARK WAS ALWAYS INVITING. THE TREES WERE ALWAYS FULL AND GREEN. CLEAN... I DROVE MY ELDER BROTHER HERE. IT WAS ALMOST UNRECOGNIZABLE. ALTHO THE SEASON IS CHANGING, THE TREES LOOKED NEGLECTED AND DRY AS IF THE PARK HAD NOT BEEN GROOMED. THERE WERE 3 VANS OF ADULT DAY CARE CLIENTS AND STAFF. I WAS SADDEN TO SEE HOW IT HAD DEPRECATED. THE CITY NEED TO INVEST IN THIS PARK. IT WILL INVITE...

Ladera Park in Inglewood is a total gem for anyone looking to chill or get active. It’s got everything: clean playgrounds for the kids, courts for basketball and tennis, and lots of space for picnics or just lounging around. The vibe is super community-focused, with lots of local events that bring everyone together. It’s always clean, feels safe, and there’s plenty of parking. Basically, it’s the go-to spot if you’re in Inglewood and want a cool place to hang out or meet up with friends. Definitely worth checking out!

Such a great public park! Free parking on rear and there are hills of green grass to choose and relax. There are BBQ grill pits, trash cans and tables provided as well as a dumping area for charcoal. You can really get a forest-type feel here for park is surrounded by so many trees, grass, and wild life. There is also a play ground for the kids, basketball courts and many little trails to hike. I definitely recommend this park. Especially for family's.
