This is a great neighborhood park. My pup loves it so much. We used to go daily when we lived closer. My landlords decided they didn't like me having a dog, so this was the closest park for us. We moved a little further away, and we try to go as often as we can. This park is wide open. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field, lots of picnic tables, and space for gatherings of all kinds. The grounds are very well kept, and I find this impressive being that the park covers a lot of ground, from north to south and east to west. There is also a play area for children with all of the regular playground equipment. This area is also well taken care of. At the upper area of the park on the east side there is an outdoor exercise section. There is a great variety of workout equipment for all parts of the body. This equipment is permanently grounded and very sturdy. There is a little of everything at this local park including a Senior Center just south directly across the street from the park. There is ample parking no matter how many events are going on. One recommendation that I do have is to keep your visits to the park during daylight hours. Which is pretty much the same everywhere...

There’s free street parking along the perimeter of the block but if there’s events, you will have to park residential. There’s an amphitheater with seating for 200+, plenty of park tables(possibly 20) which you could reserve, a basketball court, play ground with swings and a tennis court. There’s a restroom! I didn’t use it, but there were two available. There weren’t too many dogs that use the park so it was pretty clean and smelled like bbq. Wish I...

THE TREES WERE ALWAYS FULL AND GREEN. CLEAN... I DROVE MY ELDER BROTHER HERE. IT WAS ALMOST UNRECOGNIZABLE. ALTHO THE SEASON IS CHANGING, THE TREES LOOKED NEGLECTED AND DRY AS IF THE PARK HAD NOT BEEN GROOMED. THERE WERE 3 VANS OF ADULT DAY CARE CLIENTS AND STAFF. I WAS SADDEN TO SEE HOW IT HAD DEPRECATED. THE CITY NEED TO INVEST IN THIS PARK. IT WILL INVITE...
