Stopped by The Nile bar before seeing the F.O.R.C.E. Live concert. Listennnnn, upon walking in, I felt like I was VIP, me and my party were immediately taken to a table, then moved to another larger table for more comfort by the host. Next, the waitress comes over, very friendly, attentive, excellent service from her. We place drink orders and food, drinks come out EXPEDITIOUSLY!!! Now please understand, it's not empty at all. Almost every table was full, so keeping this in mind along with the speed of our service is Bananas!!! ALL THE WHILE, The music is KNOCKING!!!! The DJs legit understood the assignment, the vibes were vibing....All heads were nodding, ALL HEADS. We're singing, rapping songs back and forth w/strangers. A whole vibe, do you hear me?! Now we kept it simple, Sliders, Fries and Wings... However there was NOTHING SIMPLE about the seasoning and flavors!! This had to be the BEST dmn slider I've ever had. No cap, no embellishment, other establishments need to take notes. Because this nicely sized, thick slider had all the trimmings you'd expect on a full size burger🤌🏾!! The fries were seasoned and I'm almost sure truffled, the wings were also seasoned and perfectly crisp but juicy at the same dmn time!! Everyone at my table said "if these items were THIS GOOD, what does the other food taste like?" Because it can only get better from there. The atmosphere and aesthetic is dope. You've got large screens, a large wall used to project addtl TV/sports, there's an upstairs area as well. Very chic, mini selfie wall, restrooms were clean and fragrant. 10/10 across the board. I can't wait to visit again and stay longer!!! Treat yourself and stop by, you won't be...
Read moreI want to give a full overview of the Nile Bar. I’ve been on multiple occasions- weekends and weeknights alike so I feel I have a good gage.
Theres a lot of great things such as the huge TV’s, huge bar seating, live DJ/Bands and themed nights. It’s definitely more of a local bar feel because it’s a very clicky place. Meaning people just talk amongst the group of friends they came with- it’s not very social if you come alone and want to meet new people.
Overall, service is not bad but it’s not good. You will wait much longer than expected. This is if the bar is full or just 1 to 5 people inside. Experienced both.
Drinks are good and strong- price varies as they do have happy hour, but I usually pay closer to 17 bucks for one drink after happy hour.
Had the sliders which were excellent but the wings were cooked very hard and they were not good.
Now this part can be superficial, but this is for the fellas. The woman are on the larger/older side. This place doesn’t attract younger, smaller sized women. I’m not saying the women aren’t pretty, but if you also want someone in shape I would say this is not the place.
And for the women… there’s a selection of men who come in solo to “watch the game” but besides small talk and a drink being bought for a very select few- I don’t really see you meeting anyone here. Just not set up for that vibe in my opinion. Stick to your gworls.
But with all that being said, something about the Nile Bar really works. You just want to always come back because it does feel great. Idk what it is, but it’s a special feeling this place has that just pulls you back in for another game, another bite, or another drink.
I give this place 4...
Read moreI went into this establishment for the first time today, the atmosphere was very upbeat, great must, great vibe, and great tv screens. I must say I sat at the bar and was totally ignored by what I guess was the main bartender. A patron even stood right next to me and she seem to know him, the bartender took his order and pretended I wasn’t sitting at the bar. The patron was very friendly to me, he even asked the bartender how come she wasn’t trying to help me, she literally waved her hand and said no. I mean this was very very odd since I have never been there before. Another more mature bartender eventually notice I was sitting there for about 20 minutes and asked me if the other bartender was helping me, I said no, she was then able to get me a drink, and an order of wings. This 2nd bartender was very nice, and she did a good job, I must say her facial expressions told me she was even puzzled as to why I wasn’t served by the other bartender. I must say this was a very very odd experience, and I do not intended on boing back there, I will take my business to an establishment that appreciates NEW business. I try my best to support black owned businesses in especially in light of what’s going on with the elimination and roll back of DEI initiatives by certain corporations, not knowing I would be treated like crap for literally no justifiable reason at all. I mean I have been to busy bars before where it took a very long time to get a drink, but never before I have been made to feel invisible by a bartender before who 1000% didn’t want to...
