Randy's Donuts & Chinese Food — Restaurant in Inglewood

It's okay for a quick bite but they're ridiculous with the price. I think they're one of the highest Chinese fast food in Inglewood. Plus their portions are getting smaller using the smallest foam take out plate. A side of plain fry rice is over give bucks and the egg Fu young is so small. Sometimes these businesses think that the neighbors in their community can't do without them and they constantly keep raising their prices. It's ridiculous that people allow these businesses to get over and don't speak up for their rights. I only go there every so often but each time I go by the prices keep changing. So I'm done with Randy's Chinese food. I'm not paying 15 bucks for any shrimp fry rice especially when they use the precooked fry rice instead of fresh steam rice starting from scratch. That's double the oil intake and extra sodium going into my body. I can make my own by using a youtube recipe...

Stopped in after 5 pm expecting to find a fresh raspberry filled donut and was quickly told that no more would be ready until tomorrow. Daughter was totally bummed. Opted for a Thai Iced Tea with Boba. The Boba was clear not the expected dark color but she only complained to me for like 10 minutes. Ordered the Shrimp fried rice and egg foo young. Gravy was a weird orange color. Got on the side to be safe. The fried rice was solid since it's made to order sort of. They take the rice from the display and add cooked Shrimp to it. Nevertheless it was solid. Traditionally speaking. They had a line of patrons which is a good sign. This is the definition of the "greasy spoon". The appearance is run down and even tacky, from outside it might appear closed up and inside isn't much better. However is you take a chance on eating in such a place, you will be rewarded.. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 There is a large selection of items available (similar to a Panda Express but fresh) and everything is hot and ready. They have a huge turnover, always a few people in line so the food is always being prepared fresh. I am very happy that I dated to try it, now it is one of my highly rated local eateries, despite appearing to be anything but. The staff are not the most talkative but they are polite and efficient.
