Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Inglewood

It has happened to me that people have been upset or stressed because their order has not arrived on time but what they don't think about: What days of events, concerts, football matches or birthdays we have more people And we have more orders piling up, also understand that our work team we do everything possible to get your order out on time But it is also not fair that they barely order and in less than 15 minutes they are already wanting their pizza knowing that we have orders before them sometimes it is nice that customers thank us for everything It was good, excellent service, that makes me think that people had time and patience in taking their order knowing that we have more orders before them. What I like most is that they take their time, not like other people who are no longer rushing around, annoyed or angry, about what time their order comes out. They have been knowing for more than half an hour that they barely ordered their pizza But in my mind I think that because they didn't order at Domino's or at Little Caesars Since they already have it Ready hahaha no but seriously also understand that we are busy sometimes, mostly we do everything possible to solve your problem and have the order lists so that when you cross the door of the restaurant you leave with the desire to return again with...

This was my first time visiting this establishment. I ordered the 12"PCM chix meal which consists of a medium sized pepperoni pizza, mojos, and 4 pieces of fried chicken. That deal was $27.59 and I also ordered 2 adult sodas for $5.98 and 1 child soda for $1.99. I requested a pan crust pizza for an additional $1.00 . I was disappointed in the fact that the pizza crust was burnt and it took a long time for our food to come. The mojos and chicken taste good; however, my sister's chicken wasn't freshly cooked when she received it. The chicken looked as if it were cooked in old grease. The pizza sauce doesn't appeal to my tastebuds. The pepperoni was baked underneath the sauce and cheese so it appeared to be a minimal amount of pepperoni on the pizza. Nor did I taste a lot of pepperoni. I feel like there should have been more pepperoni on each slice as opposed to one pepperoni. Nonetheless, it's doable for me. I expect a positive change in the issues I experienced with this establishment. On a lighter note, the restaurant was clean and the staff was professional and courteous. I guess if you're a white person you probably shouldn't come here to eat! I was driving by and saw the Shakey's and thought I would relive some Joy from my youth.

They have a lunch special a buffet. I ordered that and the cashier said that it was over. I said what time does it end and he said two pm. I said but it's not 2:00 yet and he said but we're going to be picking up all of the items and it won't be available for you to get served.

I accepted that explanation and I went and use the restroom to wash my hands and come back and order something else. But when I came back it was after 2:00 and they were still putting fresh food up on the buffet and non-white people were still getting sold buffet orders.

So I just left out here to my car to make this review of the place.

It looked clean and the food looked good but I mean they didn't serve me but then they serve the people that came in after me I don't know what else to think
