The Goods: This snazzy little spot is pretty chill. I actually found out about this place while Door Dashing and said to myself, I'm going to come back eventually. So in coming back it was better than I expected. I only had a burger and sweet potato fried but they hooked up that burger to perfection. The waiter Luis was cool and I enjoyed the atmosphere . The relaxed upscale feeling but attached to the Westin Hotel Vibes. The Ugly: I wanted Breakfast food and even the lunch food wasn't eye popping oh what's that!" Kinda effect. Opted for the burger because everything else wasn't speaking to me. Even the burger was just a giant Patti. Was giving Bison burger meets Beyond Burger vibes (huge for no reason) The place looks like it's only cuztomes come from during check in time. Google directed me to this place among breakfast places snd it fell short if being a breakfast establishment, mind you the fiance wanted to go to IHOP 🤔 I wouldn't go out my way to come here but if I ever stayed at a hotel where I wanted to spend $200 a night for a subpar view of industry and airport I would come down and spend $47 on a meal

Stopped here for breakfast ahead of going to LAX. Nice place to get some work in ahead of going into the chaos of the airport. Coffee was good. Huevos rancheros were delicious, though I will say it said rice and I literally got 1 tablespoon. Honestly, that's fine by me, but just though the random portion on that was strange. Service was a little lacking. It was great at first, then my server disappeared (maybe he went on break and assumed I was going to work there a couple hours?). Two other gentleman started covering and never once spoke to me. They helped another gentleman across the aisle, a regular from the sounds of it, but my empty coffee and water were ignored. I even had my credit card on the table ready to after being ignored for twenty minutes, still no one came and I couldn't seem to catch there attention. Eventually my server came back and continued to be lovely. So would have been 5 stars if the break covering gentleman would have even so much as stopped by and only getting 4 because the food was good.

The food was mediocre. My toast were burned, my eggs were supposed to be over medium and were well overcooked. The service while polite was not good. They brought us our food but no silverware. My kids asked the hostess twice for our silverware as we couldn’t find the waitress and she smiled as she said ok but never brought them. When I asked her myself a 3rd time she said she was busy. We finally saw our waitress and I had to ask her myself. She brought the silverware right away but by then our food was cold. She never brought me my coffee and nor my husband his water. She never checked on us even once and never refilled our water. I left her $20 tips because the bills was $156 but she definitely didn’t deserved even that much. Management needs to train their waitstaff and kitchen staff better. When you charge that much for breakfast food, offer better food and service.

We have visited the Daily Grill multiple times when staying at the Westin LAX. We always look forward to a relaxing meal after our long flight. On February 26th, we arrived late in the evening after a long and exhausting eleven hour flight from London. We were looking forward to a relaxing meal at the Daily Grill. We were greeted by Eartha, who is always welcoming and inviting and she remembers us. She is always a pleasure to talk to. She is very engaged with all of the customers. She had the hostess seat us at a nice window table. We sat there and waited at least 20 minutes. We watched the waiters go from table to table, but nobody acknowledged us. The older waiter passed by us at least six times and never acknowledged us. He even stopped at the table directly across from us and chatted for quite some time without even a simple, I will be right with you. He simply ignored us. He must be in his 60’s or 70’s. We weren’t sure who our waiter was. After waiting 20 minutes, I finally got up and approached the older waiter and asked him if there is a waiter assigned to our table. He rudely said, “ I am your waiter and I am busy processing credit cards”. I told him never mind we are leaving. We left and went to the lobby bar to eat. We have decided we will never return to the Daily Grill, as a matter of fact we will probably never return to the Westin LAX. We are currently looking for another hotel with a decent restaurant to visit after a long flight. I do think the older waiter should retire already. He has waited on us in the past and has never done a good job. He is always tardy and never pleasant and has a chip on his shoulder. We have simply tolerated him. But the last visit was the last straw for us. He should remember us by now. We travel quite a bit and spend a lot of time at the Westin. Maybe he thinks we are local and not worthy of his time. I don’t know what his problem is, but to ignore his customers and then give attitude is uncalled for. He should be fired. The rest of the staff are quite lovely. Most of the staff has been there a long time and we see the same people every time. They too remember us. It’s unfortunate, but we will not...

We were a large group of 16. Food was very good but disappointed with how long it took for food to come out and how long it took to check out. We made a reservation and were seated around 7:30pm. After ordering drinks our food orders were taken by 8pm. Food took 1hour to come out. A bit of a long wait when the restaurant really wasn’t that full. Some meals came out without the second side dish. Once we were finished with our meals we waited and waited for our server to bring our checks. Yes, there were 9 separate checks. It took a while for our payments to be collected and processed and I get that it takes time to run them all. Only 4 credit cards and the rest all cash with no change required. I don’t understand why it would take nearly 40minutes to cash out. Unacceptable in my opinion. We finally were able to leave 11:15pm. 4hours from start to finish and the vast majority of the time was waiting on food and to be cashed out. There should have been at least 2 servers for a large group like us. This would have sped up the process much quicker. Myself and many others were beginning to get very frustrated with the length of time everything took. I rated a 3 because of the long waits we endured and the rating would have been 1 star lower had the food not been so good. All in all the food was very delicious and well prepared with a nice presentation. Server was very friendly but we all felt we were forgotten throughout our visit. 4 hours is a lot of time to sit in a restaurant from start to finish. As a former server from many years ago I would have been on top of the table as much and as fast as possible to turn it faster. Tables around us turned at least 3 times while we were there and they were also served much faster and visited more often than were were. Sadly we will not be visiting again due to the amount of time...

Was there for a Hollywood Show about a year or so ago and ate at the front side across from the bar. I posted the same review then but it disappeared so I am re posting it.

My group was already seated and myself and a friend arrived after they did and needed utensils. As the server was away serving others, I went to the restaurant part in back (which was empty), and got 2 sets of utensils for myself and my friend as to not bother her. No problem with either myself or my fried as we said nothing.

The server came over about 15 min later with utensils and I say, that's ok I saw you were busy and got 2 sets. I said it nicely sincerely and smiled. There was absolutely no problem. She then says in a very snotty tone, "I know what I'm doing and would have got them for you" and rolled her eyes. I said I know you would have but we didn't want to bother you, it's fine. She then adds, "I know how to do my job". Our party looked at one another like?, as she walked away and seriously, never came back to the table our entire meal. Not ONCE to ask how things were or to refill our sodas. If this server does not like her job she shouldn't work there. She was totally unprofessional, obnoxious, and had a serious...
