Simply Salad — Restaurant in Inglewood

I ordered a salad from this location using the new app. I have ordered the same salad for months on the app, just a different location. I wrote in the "special instructions" portion of the order checkout "NO CHICKEN. PLEASE SUBSTITUTE FOR TOFU" as I have always done with no problem because I do not eat meat. I receive my salad with huge chunks of chicken (most of which was pink - disgusting!). I called the store to alert them and see how I can get another salad. Instead of acknowledging the issue and trying to gauge what may have happened or how my order got mixed up. There was no accountability, just full blaming and almost arguing on their side. As the customer I was trying to explain to them that I place this order religiously with no problem and maybe there was an issue with the app. They continued to proceed with telling me that I didn't put any instructions in the app and there was nothing wrong on their end it was all on me. Literally this was the conversation. I just wanted to see what they could do about helping me order another salad correctly to make sure I got a salad WITHOUT meat for dinner especially since my car was having issue and I had to order delivery. Customer service is at an all time and low...

I usually go to the century location. But ever since i came to this location, I’ve been happier with my service and especially the outcome of my salads everytime i come to build my own! I haven’t had a wrap from here yet but that’s next on my list. All the ingredients are fresh WITH “cucumbers!!” 😩😮‍💨🙌🏽 (For some reason century location sucks at this part) I must say though, there is this really cute/attractive light skin young woman with the head wrap that chops my salad sometimes when she’s there i always leave there happier cause of her if i may be honest lol personally i think she’s really dope and deserves a raise’ or promotion of some sort or something! She’s a beautiful girl & everytime i go and she’s there my salads come out lookin gorgeous as if she signed her signature with love in my salad! I wish i knew her name, but today she chopped my salad again and I appreciate her more than she knows yet as well as this location for providing great atmosphere to complement the whole experience. I suggest this location better cause everywhere else is slower for some odd reason. Definitely know what they’re doing here & everything is really good!

6/29..Ive been to this location a few times and I love it. The food is really good. I've never had an issue ordering in person before, but the wait can be a while if they have online orders ahead of you. The variety is great for a "build your own" wrap or salad. I usually get wraps but this last visit I decided on a salad. I placed my order through the app and when brought home I was tearing it apart! because it's soo good. Until... I took a piece of hair out of my mouth. :( This made me sad because now each bite is extra cautious preventing full enjoyment of my meal.

This is not a negative on the place, nor the food. But this one experience left me sad.

7/3...update. So I didn't want to give up and the salad was so good I wanted a redo. Sadly I would advice not ordering through the app. I ordered the exact same salad which had a handful of extra charge add ons. The unfortunate thing about ordering through the The app is Once you choose your items, and pay for it, that's it.You are not reimbursed for items not available Or forgotten. I'm missing two items from my add-ons that I paid for. If I ever go back, I will just have to wait in line and order in person....
