There was a group of 3 of us that went out to dinner and decided to meet up at this place, none of us had tried before. To start (and no fault of the business) was that parking sucked. It is an absolute nightmare. The lot is shared with a hotel with was very busy, and if that’s full you leave the area and park in a lot that’s shared with a movie theater down the hill. Being that it was cold, windy and rainy I opted to drop my lady at the door, which was difficult given the narrow area near the entrance.
Anyway, the parking situation doesn’t effect rating because it’s really not anyones control.
We went inside and was seated right away. There were 2 hostesses, one of which must have been having a bad day because she said “the other one will be with you shortly” and just sat where she was. The other hostess greeted us and sat us, she seemed really busy. It did take quite some time (approximately 15 mins) for our waitress to greet us and take drink orders. When I saw who our waitress was, we were all rather disappointed because she had passed our table a good dozen times prior and never said anything.
We placed our orders and the food was rather fast coming out. Everything looked alright and tasted really good! 2 of the 3 of us ordered burgers and weirdly we both (myself included) weren’t able to completely finish our meal because we both began to feel odd. Our stomachs were not happy with us and began cramping. We both sat for a while and waited to see if the feeling would subside and they did not. We asked to speak to management just to bring awareness to our odd issues and after 20 mins of waiting, we just weren’t able to sit around anymore.
We’ve agreed maybe it was just an off night and had agreed to try again because majority of the staff was excellent and the food really did taste great!! But just odd what happened and when. Well...
Read moreIn general, we are not the type to complain about our food or service at a restaurant. But this was pretty bad. I passed tons of restaurants to bring my elderly mom to B-52’s, for her birthday (She turned 85) because someone recommended the place. I hate to judge a restaurant on the service but, it was terrible. Just to start, Mom ordered a cup of coffee and received a cup of lukewarm “mud.” The cream curdled when she added it. She ordered the Steak melt and it was tasteless and chewy - Do not order this. My order was messed up but by time the waitress checked on us, I was mostly finished eating what they served. Unfortunately our conversation went from talking about positive things to continuing pointing out the several things our server was doing wrong. Mom was a waitress for years when we were kids. A person who I assumed was a manager did check on us, I was so discouraged, I decided to say something. I told him things were off, but I did not want to embarrass my mom by complaining (she’s a very simple woman). He did ask me to elaborate but I again told him I didn’t want to make my mom uncomfortable. I was hoping he would have either offered me his phone number or ask me to step aside to talk. Instead he ended up being me a part of my order that was forgotten. You know that feeling when the first thing you tell each other when you get to your car is “I will never come here again?” ...
Read moreNEVER again will I go to the restaurant. I ordered chicken wings. I know the prices have gone up but really. $2.40 per wing and they were very small.4 drummies and 2 wing ends. That is not the reason though for not returning. Three of the wings were full of feathers. REALLY! I thought I should let them know that this is not the way they should be served. Besides the feathers they were tough as all get out. An employee had the gall to tell me this is the way they should be company sends them. You know what I don’t care. It is the people preparing the food that need to remove the feathers and she once again told me this is the way they should suppliers send them. So here’s another question for you. If the bread supplier sent you moldy bread would you serve that to your customers or how about the lettuce that comes in a bag from the supplier if it was moldy would you serve that. I doubt it. After I complained they offered to send it back for new ones. No thanks. They’d probably be full of feathers too. They did remove them from our groups bill and I appreciate that but certainly don’t plan on returning. I’m thinking I’m going to call the health department to see what they think about the...
