I just went to this Inverness location. I didnt know that they were still closing at 8 pm at this time. Nonetheless, I was at the speaker to order BEFORE 8 p.m. waited 12 minutes at the speaker. Once the car in front of me pulled away I drove up to the window only to have the guy open the window, say "sorry we close at 8." As I was saying "sir I was here before 8" he shuts the window on me midspeech, reopens the window and says "no I saw you pull up and it was after 8." False. Secondly, could nobody get ok the speaker and say they were closing? So, they can't inform a guest over the speaker that they are closed early because it wasn't 8 pm yet and then rudely shuts the window in my face. Now let me add, about once a month the crew from Jimmy John's goes around to local businesses and give out samples and catering menus, etc. I run a high volume business in Inverness. Why would I ever order from then again for my staff or meetings? We are always ordering from them. At least every other day a staff member will have lunch delivered or I order large orders for meetings. Not anymore! Good job dude! You just lost your restaurant, and i use that term loosely, alot of business. I would never expect anyone to stay open late or serve me late if I showed up after closing. The rudeness of the employee is why I made...
Read moreThe atmosphere was cool and open upon entering with their signature signs and flair strewn about the building. The dining area had a nice flow for people to move through without bumping into eah other from the counter, to the drink station, and back around to the booths and tables. The service was quick and courteous without hanging up on excessive pleasantries and banter. The staff moved swiftly and meticulousy on the orders spending almost no time assembling sandwiches. Almost like it was second nature helped by an efficient prep and setup system. Lastly the sub was delicious. I had the Italian Night Club and the bread was firm and glossy on the outside while still being soft and chewy on the inside. The vegetables were all flavourful and crisp. The meats were clearly fresh and savory as could be while layered thick. Lastly the mayo, oil, and pesto brought it all together by adding the layers of flavour that accentuated the vegetables and meats. None of the ingredients overpowered one another making sure you had a full aromatic balance in every bite. Jimmy Johns is the closest I have found in a chain restaurant that is able to bring the classic New York sub flavour to evreyone. Top...
Read moreThe new location is nice and in a major traffic area and getting in and out quickly usually isnt going to happen due to the major intersection it located at Hwy 44 & Hwy 41. The drive thru is nice if your in a hurry, there wasn't a line during my visit ao that was convenient. I am disappointed in the size and quantity of topping put on a sandwich. Seriously to charge nearly $6 for a sandwich with a few and I mean a very few slices of turkey like a grand total of 3 very thin slices and lettuce on an 8" sub is crazy also cheese is extra. A meal with a lemonade 8" sub and a small bag of chips was nearly $11 what a disappointment. Publix is the sandwich king in town as they are more fresh have more topping choices (by far) cheese isn't extra and to make your sandwich a combo with chils and a drink is only $1.50 more, I'll be heading to Publix from now on and so should you since its 1 minute down the road. I will say the staff was nice and the sandwich came out quickly but the reason Jimmy Johns is freaky fast is simple they don't put much of anything on...
