Renucci's Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Ionia

I recently moved to Ionia and I was eager & optimistic to try an establishment that had so many years of operation. I placed a takeout order, arrived to pick it up but my order apparently never made it to kitchen staff. To make it up, they offered to deliver it for free. I obliged, paid for my order, left a $5 tip for the kitchen and went home. I was slightly annoyed, but let it go because I understand circumstances during this COVID-19 Stay at home order. When our 2 pizzas, fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks arrived, the delivery gal was nice and apologetic so I tipped her $6 also. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the quality of the food. The pizzas were comparable to a gas station pizza that was "dressed" up with fresh toppings. The mozzarella sticks were overdone. The mushrooms were decent though. Overall, the food was definitely not worth $48...

I got pizza from here for the first time, It was delicious and the toppings tasted fresh! I like trying out pizza from different places, they all have their own taste. I got pepperoni, onions, green peppers and mushrooms. Man those green peppers tasted like just cut.

So many more things to try from here, they all look so tasty. I feel dumb for not knowing ALL THESE YEARS that they serve food too. I thought they only served beer and since I never drink, this place never came to mind. I just asked my phone 1 day "what's open to eat" and this place was on the list. That's how I found out that they serve food too.

I do remember a lot of kids in school would wear Renucci's t-shirts (or shirts of Def Leppard and Metallica) and ALL this time I never knew they made...

Very disappointed this time. Hubby's wet burrito was dry, no sauce or cheese on it. He asked only for no onion or tomato and wanted an order of potato skins the same way, no tomato or onion, just cheese on the skins and they were burnt. Oh and he asked and extra sauce for the burrito in a cup too. He had to pour a cup of sauce on the burrito and put our own cheese on it in the microwave. I got fettuccine Alfredo and it's very very bland. The food has deteriorated badly in the past 3 months. I asked about the fried zucchini sticks in the veggie sampler platter listed on the menu. Yeah they haven't had those in all her time there. Nice. Take it off the menu! Call to speak to a manager about the issues we had and I was hung...
