fix! Coffee — Restaurant in Iowa City

One of my favourite cafés in my hometown. Had to find a good place for reading this summer break since the libraries here just don’t feel the same, and I love the bright atmosphere the place has. I wouldn’t consider myself a coffee connoisseur, but I really enjoyed the taste of the coffee and felt the price was more than fair, especially since I’m there not just to drink coffee, but also to enjoy my ritual of reading a book in a café setting. This is a great chill coffee shop that I've been coming to for years to work away from the office. The baristas are friendly, calm, and care about delicious beverages.

This is probably not a place to get a coffee when you are rushing to get somewhere else. Come here to relax with a pourover or one of their specialty drinks and a slice of orange cake; maybe get some work done or catch up with friends. The interior is beautiful, with plenty of light, and directly adjacent to Film Scene and Spare Me bowling/arcade.

Fix is one of my favorite places to hang out or study. It’s so good! The workers are extremely friendly and personable, making me feel welcomed into the space. The drink options are simple and easy to follow, and they can honestly whip together just about anything you want. I love a good London Fog, and this place can deliver.
