Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Iowa City

I stopped in here after a long day at the VA hospital (11/4/2021, approx 3:50pm) to order my normal #12 Beach Club with bacon combo, no chips, full pickle....I have previously NEVER had a bad experience at any other Jimmy John's, but had never visited this location before... well, this one was atrocious. 1st- my bread was very stale and so hard I could barely bite through it....and I have 6 dental implants in my mouth, it shouldn't be that hard. 2- so glad my paper got the avocado spread...because my sandwich didn't get ANY of it... literally, all the spread was on the outside of my bread, from top to bottom, and not a single bit of that green goop was inside where it should have been...go ahead, look at the picture... 3-the bacon....I understand that the meat is cold, but my bacon was LITERALLY still ice cold, with little frosty bits on it, like it had just been defrosted. No idea if that is the case, but I get this sandwich all the time, and have never had ice cold bacon on my sandwich. 4-the pickle...this one might seem petty, but hey....I substitute the chips for a full size pickle, and it wasn't even cut in half....so I'm trying to drive 90 mins home, eating this huge dill pickle in my hand....GTFOH.... 5- everything on my sandwich was falling out the side. Should just call yourself Subway, and do away with the pretense.

Overall, waste of money, utterly disgusting; and 3 hours later was actually sick to my stomach 🤢...

So, the other day I was sitting at home minding my business when I heard a thunk and a knock on the door. I opened the door to find a Jimmy John’s sandwich at my doorstep. I did not order Jimmy John’s. Not only did the driver leave food I did not order outside my house and drive away, they knocked my mailbox off of the siding and simply left without offering so much as an apology. After delivering the food to the intended recipient (whose address was clearly printed on the receipt), I promptly called the store and explained the situation—if I were a manager I would want to know if my employees did something like this. The man I spoke to on the phone, once again, did not apologize, but said he’d leave my name and phone number for the general manager. Two days later, I am still waiting on a phone call.

I’d say “don’t order from this Jimmy John’s” but who knows, even if you don’t place an order they might still damage your property and drive away with zero...

Like the food...come here if you wanna see breasts too When I went to grab a pick up order they started it. They then put one of the two sandwiches I ordered in the bag and stapled it closed and declared it done because they got distracted by a lady in a see through pink top walked in with no bra you could see areola and nipple piercings if they had it and the size of areola. They did not kick her out and messed up my order because of it!!!!! I forgot my drink that I ordered because I was so uncomfortable with Jimmy John's employees not saying anything about the public indecency occuring in front of them. And the only feedback on here is please tell the store owner and provide feedback.... No hold these people accountable review the tapes and watch the scenes... Do some due diligence because I am never coming back or supporting jimmy John's again! You are lucky I didn't record it for a full fledged lawsuit because I was so...
