Zeno’s has always been great, but it’s time to face the facts; over the last couple years they’ve gone to another level entirely and are, by far, the best Beef spot in Massachusetts. While other trendy spots in the North Shore have become obsessed with pretentiously packing as much (average) beef as possible into their sandwich to get looks on social media or whatever, Zeno’s keeps it OG and uses appropriate but never thrifty amounts of their absolutely untouchable beef in every sandwich, making it a much more well balanced sandwich experience overall. There’s always a hint of “spice” to their beef but once again, unlike other spots, they don’t overdo it in an attempt to club you over the head. They simply let their untouchable product shine. Add to this some of the friendliest employees you’ll ever find anywhere to the mix and you have the stuff of legend. Zeno’s is the king.
