I have lived in Irmo for 14 years and I have visited this spot several times and I have always been pleased with the food & service but not today. I called my order in & was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived in 20 minutes & nothing was fixed. A female server who greeted me at the cash register rushed in to the back without washing her hands or putting & began to fix my order. My turkey sandwich looked just like it was fixed rushed & thrown together with mayo & mustard on the top of my sandwich. The chicken chili was obviously frozen or straight out of the fridge as it was still very cold upon touching the container. Needless to say I thru the food in the trash as I was too upset to ask for management & didn't want to raise my blood pressure any further. Should've followed my first mind & went to Kroger to get items to make my own sandwich which is what I ended up doing. I will not be going back there...
Read moreI’ll start off by saying hats off to the kitchen! My order was out quick and no complaints whatsoever. I ordered the Rueben with chips, their signature sauce and a brownie before I left; everything was delicious. I came in with a high school friend the other day for lunch and we decided this Grouchos was the best spot. Our server (don’t remember her name) had brown hair and seemed nice at first. We could tell she was stressed BUT that’s NO excuse to give guest attitudes and feel like you’re rushing them out! Other than that 10/10!! definitely...

But if you're reading this review because you're traveling through town or new here and just wondering if you should go there for lunch, the answer is yes, you just need to try it. To start, I recommend an STP Dipper. The only downside is you may think you're not getting as much food for the money... and no, it is not budget food or cheap food but it's unique and...
