So although there was the worse Marriott receptionist I have ever encountered in my entire 12 year membership, I still highly recommend this location and brand as a Platinum Elite member. This is one of the nicest TPS I've ever stayed, everyone except Orlando, is Marriott AWESOME! I was told that he tone, disposition, and clear incompetence was because his regular position was sales at another location? Some how his not wanting to be there was expressed during my check-in. Here's what happened: He claimed that 3 different cards were declined, but when I looked at my phone, all three holds had gone through on each card. This was after he looked me in the face and told me that Marriott doesn't take cash at check-in? I asked when did that start? You see, we just stayed at a Marriott property earlier this month, paid cash incidental deposit as well as several others. With a condescending, and irritated tone he claimed that that had be Marriott's policy for years. I just looked at him and then showed him my phone where the 3 holds were made on my accounts. He became vey defensive, indignant, and hostile saying that on his end there was nothing. That's when I told him he needed to figure that out because my cards were charged. I asked him about the welcome gift, he claimed it was the bottle of water, however the night auditor clarified that not only was it a choice of concession item or points, but that PE members are simply checked-in, and they do accept cash. What?! What's wrong with Orlando then, he was just ALL wrong?! Oh, he's usually in sales I was told. 👎 Poor excuse for a poor attitude in hospitality and the incompetence is just plain unacceptable. A customer should never be more informed about the brand and product than a front end guest services team member, ever. Then he, someone, or something continued to charge the last card over 5 times! I didn't bother to take up any of this with him directly because it was 10oclock at night and I don't like going to sleep irritated. I also found out that although my reservation was for 2 nights, he set my key for only one. Why though? So I'll just call the Platinum line later, write my review now, continue to enjoy my stay, and trip to Columbia. Other hotel awesomeness! The gym is still get fit, but bigger with a full tier of weights and 2 benches. Also you get to use a local gym for free with your room key. The name is posted in the get fit room. The other staff are very Marriott friendly, respectful, hospitable, and knowledgeable. The suites are new or remodeled with larger bathrooms and leaner, modern, kitchen and bedroom space. Very nice TPS. I refuse to let one person's attitude detract from the overall experience and this has been a most tranquil and serene stay. I will be back and this time I will lower my expectation, only if I see Orlando working the front desk. Unbelievable to say the least.

My 2 sisters and I chose this hotel for an overnight stop on our way from FL to TN. This place was particularly chosen based on reasonable reviews, proximity to I26, and posted pics of the breakfast available since we preferred having on site breakfast and coffee. Our room was clean and comfortable, & staff was friendly. Breakfast was very good for us, diy waffles, oatmeal, eggs, frittata like muffins, sausage, other muffins & bagels, yogurt, milk, even toppings for oatmeal which we used on waffles. Only downside on breakfast was the scrambled eggs were kinda wet due to steam staying in the chafing dish. So, we liked this place so much that we booked it a second time on our return trip home, and were pleased with that stay as well. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful in me trying to find my glasses that may have been left behind at check out, she took me back up to the room to look everywhere. I found them later wrapped up in other belongings, but I really appreciated the effort she gave in helping me and double checking she had my number on file in case they were found. They were even accommodating both times to place us on top floor because I'm anxious and preferred not to risk stomping people above me. All in all, can't complain about a thing :)

The worst Marriott hotel I’ve ever stayed in. As a gold elite member I stay in a lot of Marriott’s all over the US and this TownePlace suites staff made for the worst experience I’ve had. Upon arrival I informed the front desk of a family emergency and that we needed to cancel so we could go ahead and drive a little closer to home. No refunds were given because we did the “non refundable price” which would be refundable if they wanted to. We asked for a credit to stay at another towneplace closer to home and they wouldn’t do that either. When asked to get the manager the front desk attendant walked to the back room, turned around, came back and said that she was in an important meeting. We left to do a job we had in town and came back later that evening for a bit of shut eye before leaving at 3:30 am and our room smelled like cigarettes. When my wife complained to the manager she was given a rude response. We did get a room change, but it should have come with no rude comments. Needless to say this hotel is bad and management here gives Marriott as a whole a bad name. The hallways are 200 degrees, the location is horrid, the staff are awful and the rooms are filthy and stink.

The hotel never reminded me about the booking or returned the call so I was charged for a week but did not stay at the hotel. It is fantastic with great architecture you can move from one sounding room to the private keep in mind peacefulness on site. It's the perfect spot for a bathloer pad or your next stay in between bookings. The lobby is always. The conisiour free breakfast for guests although no smoking. Smokers feel free at home here but the reason you came here for is the always availability the rooms are practical and the days go by smooth. The locale features the 5 who what when where why and how hard it's a premium feature for free but it's only locale so many availability everynight. I love this place sincerely from the bottom of my heart and the staff treat you like home so being homeless or of interior design the greatest aspect from staying here is the peace and comfort on mind so that you can relax to because generally the rule is they really do care. 15% gratuity is never enough so I encourage you to get a premium price on your booking. Simply call up the front desk of any hotel and access this system to get a generalized statement or receipt for comparison and you will see how much money you will save when you punch the card. Just make sure to ask forward to your lunch in. If you would like to stay for a week this is one of the best of the most desirable places to find federal men a man you know a hunk for real no lie I'm sure they all have wives but the places you see and the people you meet here are a requirement. That makes me happy to see people living their life smiling and laughing and enjoying their time staying on site although for future reference see attachment as the main infrastructure their is a main st. INN works to talk about the shift in n days to 2nights booking while the surrounding area has built up completely forenoon just dont forget about breakfast to lunch on makings more sweet on the front desk each flower for each floor. Dont forget to tip (15% is never enough but paying over price for a a lunch in or a new booking is not much either.) If you consider staying here you can sleep at night feeling priceless as you are without having to worry about insurance or a protective plan. The entire staff is stadium secure and the hotel lobbyist locale as well in agreement so your personal belongs and public domain are the upmost foremost and idealized trust issues is in other states living here like minded welcome to your desires. How can I I help you? Feel free look around but dont stay to long unless you like experiencing the brighter side of investments money and unlimited opportunities that the locale unbelievably the strongest personal experience you can make is one solid. Welcome to the new design! Not only is your future in mind but the peacefully driven deconstruction of life we all require that is what really keeps me moving often the presence of lifestyles you will instantly fill out full and in choices it's good its great it's better than that just as so many great choices as all of the rest. Each stay is welcoming and to me the most to me that matters if anything at all a smile that you can vividly live and feel without that smile you aren't staying here the sense of a wholesome role models this buildings structure as the future demonstrates comfortable and at most 4 out of 5 stars realistically without saying "Welcome to my town!" The only one common goal missing from the embodiment sensible format is a short hand long sleeve or skirt what I'm saying is I need new shoes which lucky for me the luxury of every instance you can remotely force into budget all retain a locale within your grasp of reach from the many level new shoes or a recipe for slow cooked pulled pork or cold cooked taco dip the only real experience is this but staying here gives you all among each and every itemized salary free range from beef to appliances just so many wonderful things from compassionate self reflection for a salary based job it's amazing what kick comic relief...

This property did a nice job at doing everything it set out to do, but not trying to be more and instead focus on getting the important stuff right. As a whole, I left very satisfied, and please look below for a more detailed outline.||Location: 5 Stars|It’s super close to a mall, tons of restaurants, a grocery store, gas stations, and is easily accessible from I26.||Curb Appeal: 5 Stars|The outside is in fantastic shape and looks nice no matter how close or far you are. The landscaping is also well done, and parking is plentiful and well lit.||Common Areas: 5 Stars|While I didn’t make use of the pool, I can vouch for the business and fitness center being perfectly adequate, and all of the sitting areas, hallways, plus elevators were well appointed, and were kept clean throughout my stay.||Customer Service: 6 Stars|I couldn’t help but give a bit of a bonus here, this is seriously one of the best managed hotel, and probably the friendliest people I’ve encountered in the industry. Jessica specifically was fantastic, she’s definitely in the right industry.||The Room Itself: 4.5 Stars|I had room 407 which was a 1 Queen Studio Suite and was nearly perfect. The entry way was well lit, and had a spacious closet with tons of clever storage solutions (a theme that continues throughout the room) and all the amenities a good hotel would have. There was also a galley kitchen across from it that did everything you’d expect with nice and clean dishware. Past this was a rather nice desk area that was well lit and had plenty of outlets and a ton of built in storage. Beyond this is the sofa which was pretty comfy and featured some tables. The view was nothing special but the drapes where in good shape and the HVAC worked well. The bed was also nice and had plenty of storage and plugs around it. Last but not least is the spacious and spotless restroom with tons of storage and a functional sink and toilet. The only complaint about my stay would be the fact that the shower had a few rough patches in the caulk and the curtain was every so slightly too long and proved a nuisance when trying to shower. Neither of these are big deals though. ||Value: 5 Stars|Considering this was the cheapest mid scale hotel in the neighborhood, and included an above average free breakfast, I consider it an excellent value.||Summary:|If you’re coming to the Columbiana area, I think I...
