Sandstone Terrace Rooftop Bar Live Music Venue — Restaurant in Iron Mountain

This place really is an amazing little spot. On top of that, Pauline, the bartender and Brandy, the owner went out of their way for me. Being from Ohio, I was up in Michigan on a fishing trip and stopped here for a quick drink on the way home. I left my wallet and didn’t realize it until I was three hours away. I immediately called the number online and Brandy the owner picked up the phone and already knew who I was and why I was calling and put me at ease that Pauline put my wallet in the safe. This was on Sunday and by Monday morning my wallet was already in the mail on the way back to me. Found this place while visiting Iron Mountain. It was the perfect relaxing place to go to hang out. Live music was playing by the acoustic guitar player during our visit and he was very good. They have plenty of outdoor seating options including high-top tables and lounge style couches and chairs. The bartender on staff was great and super-friendly. She told us all about how this place is open year-round including winter and has heated igloos you can use when visiting to stay warm. They can be reserved or are open to multiple group uses. The drinks are delicious and have mocktail options available which I appreciate. They don't serve food there but you can easily order from the restaurant below the bar and they will deliver to your table. Wish it were closer to us so we could visit more often. Last summer the First National Bank &Trust held an event to celebrate our 135 years. I was part of the internal planning committee and we chose the Sandstone Terrace Iron Mountain for our venue. It was perfect for our event! They had plenty of seating for our large group and the catered food and drinks were amazing. It was very cool to watch the sunset from the rooftop.
