I recently visited an Indian restaurant in Laguna Beach, and it was such a delightful experience! The location itself is perfect—just a short walk from the beach, which makes it a cozy spot for lunch or dinner. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentically spiced without being overwhelming. The vegetarian options were excellent—I especially loved the paneer dish and the dal, which tasted homemade and comforting. The naan was soft and buttery, straight from the tandoor. The service was warm and attentive; the staff took time to explain the dishes and even adjusted spice levels to our preference. Portions were generous, making it great for sharing. The ambiance was casual yet inviting, with a touch of Indian décor that added to the overall experience. If you’re in Laguna Beach and craving Indian food, this place is a must-try! Perfect for both locals and tourists who want a satisfying meal after a day by the ocean.

ered the chicken biryani box and it was incredible! The portion is huge, enough for two people, and full of flavor. The raita was honestly the best I’ve ever had, the gulab jamun was soft high quality, and the salad was fresh and well-seasoned. I also got a mango lassi, big, refreshing, and tasted fresh, not artificial. Chicken samosas are well seasoned and have a great taste. The owner is awesome and clearly cares about the food and customers. Everything was freshly made, and the packaging was next-level, so clean, organized, and even came with a flower. Seriously impressive for a to-go meal. Highly recommend Biryani Hunter!

Ranjeet (owner) personally greeted us. Great service. We ordered goat biryani, chicken biryani, vegan biryani. While we waited for our order Ranjeet offered us free samosas and bottled water. He was amazing to talk to. All Biryanis were delicious. The goat biryani was exceptional... He also caters onsite. The restaurant is a cloud kitchen but we were able to find some seating. Highly recommend the food and hospitality.

An absolute gem in Laguna Beach! Ok first I have to be honest I’ve lived in laguna for a little over 2 years now and my one problem was finding restaurants that I actually love and making sure they aren’t just tourist traps like most places around here. If you’re looking for food that’s bursting with flavor, this is it. Every dish tastes so authentic and beautifully spiced—not just hot for the sake of it, but layers of flavor that keep you going back for another bite. The curries are rich and complex, the tandoori dishes are perfectly smoky, and even the naan is addictive—soft, buttery, and fresh out of the oven. What really sets this place apart is that it doesn’t feel watered down or generic like some Indian spots; it’s the real deal. At the same time, the menu is approachable, so even if you’re new to Indian food, you’ll find something you’ll absolutely love. Pair it with a mango lassi or an Unbelievably delicious spiced chai (with saffron btw) and you’re set for the perfect meal. Between the warm hospitality, stunning flavors, and the cozy-yet-upscale vibe, this is the kind of restaurant that will quickly become your go-to. Trust me—whether you’re a lifelong fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, you’ll walk out already planning...
