It's an amazing place that has extremely talented artists that should get more recognition from their work. Although a bit expensive for my taste, the season pass (the only entry ticket you can buy) allows you to visit it as many times as you want each year (you have to buy another one for the next season). As an artist myself, I really enjoyed talking to the artist, and I got a chance to see artist paint and draw, and how they used various techniques to make their pieces stand out from the rest. I have a lot of trouble remember names, but I would definitely recommend that you go check out the photography work printed on metal. It is amazing what it can do and just go see it for yourself. I talked to the wife of the photographer who was presenting his art pieces, and it was just a very pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area because there aren't a lot of famous paintings from recognized artists that are in near by museums, so I think meeting the artists and talking with them really gives the art a fair an advantage over those...
Read more"Not GOOD"! I haven't been to Art-A-Fair since the summer of 2017; things have changed... "Parking" the Laguna Beach HWY Department Meters are either not working, or off line. I tried paying at the Meter Box, no receipt of time limit was indicated. I used the Online App as well, there was no indication of the 2 hours that I though I had paid for or anything to check with. "I spoke to 5 people working at Art-A-Fair and 2 people at the Saw Dust Festival about the Laguna Beach Parking App; Not one of these people could tell me if I did indeed pay for parking. How could I walk in and enjoy looking at " Their Artwork" not knowing that I could eventually be ticketed $250.00 for not paying Laguna Beach for parking this day! I always bought $200.00 to $1,000.00 for Artwork on these visits; but not today. Guess why? The beautiful Tivoli Restaurant is no longer part of "Art-A-Fair". No more to be said about this.
