Larry's Deli — Restaurant in Irvine

Good old Larry's Deli! You are always there for me when I'm hungry and have limited time. Although you think that I have gone away, I always come back for more! I admit a few of my coworkers would eat here everyday until they got sick of it. We also would take Larry's for granted because the deli is right around the corner from work. Larry's is usually the back up option, but why? Larry's is cheap, delicious, and fast.

You will never wait long for your order whether it's a busy day or not. The service is exceptional and this is a restaurant you want to go to! Too many times during lunch I have given money for food I didn't want to eat or shouldn't be eating. Larry's is semi-guilt free because you can easily find healthy items on their menu and the portion sizes are not large, but the right size for a healthy person. I actually don't cringe when I hand my money over to Larry's.

I really can't say enough good things about Larry's. It won't win any awards or please any snobby crictics, but if you want something fast and not fast food go to Larry's. Larry's the cure for the common sandwich. I promise I didn't steal that from Mad Men, but if you got the reference. Props!

I recommend Larry's because it's good. Enough said.

Sidenote I am so bummed because this is my second time trying to write a review for Larry's. I was writing a review using the mobile browser on my phone while waiting for a doctor's appointment and there was little to no reception. I though I would just click post when I left the building. Such a hidden gem here in Irvine, located next to k1 speed in a small business plaza, I wasn't sure what to expect for my first time trying Larry's Deli, I drive past it almost every day and decided to give it a try!

The French dip sandwich was amazing, lightly meddled with horseradish so it's not too overwhelming and the meat and cheese were both abundant. I definitely souped up the rest of the aus ju after finishing the sandwich, I have to say for $10 this sandwich really lifted the bar. Larry's is a gem, a hidden throwback to office park sandwich shops. The tuna and Italian sandwiches are excellent as are the teriyaki bowls made by the lovely and talented Korean ladies that run this spot. The menu is simple and without fluff like fried items.
