RUN! Just moved to this place a few months ago, my experience living here is absolutely terrible. The neighbor right above my unit makes very loud noises throughout the day. Starting from 8am to 1am and sometimes till 4am in the morning. They stomps on the floor (very heavily as if someone is carrying at least 80 pounds of stuff) in their apartment every 20-40 minutes or sometimes non-stop walking for hours. Along with a series of running, and dragging heavy furniture on the floor. And itās right above my head whenever Iām in the living room or kitchen. You will never have the chance to enjoy your food in the kitchen without being bothered, or your peaceful evening.
I tried to ask the management for help. They have sent 3 different staff from the leasing agent to the manager to enter my unit a total of 6 times and have witnessed the sounds. Said they are gonna do something but never did, they didnāt even bother to talk to the tenant upstairs, let alone resolving the issue for me. They treat you as a complaining customer instead of people who really live a life here and call it a home. They even IGNORED my email for the noise complaint. I used to work from home but now I have to spend the day outside cause I canāt even get the serenity I deserve let alone working.
The renovation inside the building is outdated and cheap. The carpet in the hallway is always dirty, packages were constantly stolen. My fridge, washer and dishwasher all need to be fixed upon moving in and the cabinet is old as well. If you are looking for apartments in Irvine, AVOID SKYLOFT AT ALL COST! Me and my partner had lived in multiple apartments in the past and the oldest were built in the 60s. None of them have the same squeaky sound from flooring and the noise problem. Clearly the Skyloft is CHEAPLY BUILT. There are plenty of newly built apartments around this area. I truly wish that nobody had to feel suffered or miserable living in their own...

The amenities, age of the building, design and structure speaks for itself. It is your, "top of the line," luxury-living in Southern California. It is one of the few properties I have been to that takes exceptional care of residents. From concierge services to a rooftop pool and bar! There are resident events and a sense of camaraderie I have never witness in my many years in the business, etc. Bottom line, everything that the property boasts is true. However, where Skyloft Apartments really shines is through their exceptional service team and front office management.
I have never met a team that strives daily for perfection like the crew at Skyloft! Not only to provide a smooth living experience for their residents but to stay informed with the current status quo while treating everyone with fairness and kindness. There is a hustle to property management that needs the synchronicity of a good team... Skyloft is the best of the best. Watching them operate is like watching the A-Team go to work.
It starts with the ebb and flows of the Business Manager and AM, Hiba and Kevin, and trickles down to the Leasing Manager, Tyler, and supporting cast, Josh and Aaron. There is not a single issue that goes unresolved. The extent of knowledge and problem solving skills held by the whole crew is mind-blowing.
I always joke that running a community like Skyloft is like running a small country and with this staff, it is a country I would love to be a citizen of and I shout it from the rooftops to all of my friends. Some of which have now taken up residency at Skyloft and couldn't be happier. Just come and experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTo put this review into context, my wife and I signed up during pre-leasing period in late March with an anticipated move in date of late June. We were enamored by the future amenities- rooftop pool, rock climbing wall, sky lounge and personal restaurant and bar. We started having visions of grandeur paying luxury price for luxury living. Our experience has been everything opposite.
My wife finally took a one-on-one hard hat tour last month and after seeing our lovely unit, we were told that our move in date would be delayed until July 6th-no problem since we were also given 8 weeks of free rent. Fast forward till last Friday, approximately 2 weeks before our move in date. I began to get worried since we had not heard anything from our leasing manager in a good while. Thus, I decide to make a call to hear that there is a chance that our move in will be delayed. Almost a week later, I finally receive a call to be told that our move in, which was originally scheduled for late June, is now pushed back to September without an exact date, nor a guarantee, that it would be ready then either. We have been kept in the dark this entire leasing process. If I had not reached out, I am not convinced that the leasing company would have gone out of their way to let us know that the move in date got pushed back. It is completely inappropriate, unfair and unprofessional to let us know without prior warning (after receiving a guarantee for a July 6th move in) to push back our move in date by 3 months without a guarantee. We feel like we have been left hung to dry especially since we have to leave our current place in a few days.
By the way, the phone number on their website connects to Frontier Communications. Which, while funny, is also gross incompetence from a an apartment complex that brands itself as a "luxurious and privileged...
