Arrived at happy hour, ordered food and drinks. Barkeep was great, drinks were great. Waited for 45mins, food didn't come. Asked why, apparently the kitchen delivered the food to the wrong table - some corporate happy hour that ate all the food delivered to them that wasn't theirs. After the 45 min wait, they said they'll rush prep our order. We said maybe that's not enough - would appreciate a comp for just the food portion. While having a good time with drinks and food, some manager comes out the back, interrupts our meals, and asks us to go over the situation, as if we had to prove ourselves. Stern face, no smiles, not apologetic, just a quick "we have some new staff that don't know what's going on yet." Explained we waited with only drinks for that long, delaying our plans for the rest of the day, and felt like some sort of comp would have been appropriate. He mentions he can offer a discount of some sort on the food. We say sure. Brings the bill, turns out to be a measly 20% discount on just the food portion. We tipped far more than their discount anyway, but yeah felt disrespect that our meal was interrupted and we were asked to explain a situation that was already known to the staff there. Why we had to repeat the info to a mean looking guy that didnt offer any smiles or apologies felt weird. I had to smile and be more jolly to try to keep the mood up so i could go back to enjoying the meal with my partner. scammed bc he said a vague "discount" that felt significant, only to end up being 20% where as other respectable restaurant would have done a full comp on the meal.
The bar and barkeep are wonderful people. Just confused at the ethos of the...

One of the ingredients listed was shishito peppers. I showed the server that there weren’t shishito peppers. Without me asking, he told the kitchen to prepare a plate on the side, which was nice. However, for a $50 plate that’s a big oversight. The “yuzu glaze,” tastes like something from a Panda Express or an Asian fast food spot. I scraped it off since it was overly sweet. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, which was the one good thing about the dish.
My boyfriend ordered the lamb chops, which were under seasoned and the carrots were undercooked.
We wanted to order more, but decided against it because we were disappointed by the arancini, which was also under seasoned and greasy.
We live close by and really wanted to like the restaurant. The ambiance was pretty poor. The large wall screen was playing a series of “screensavers”/stock footage that was distracting. It was on repeat too, and I probably saw the dancing astronaut 3-4 times.
We were celebrating a birthday and the hostess said she’d make a note when we made the reservation and they’d take care of us. Nothing happened, and that’s fine but just shows that the price you’re paying doesn’t match the level of food or service you’d expect. For any special occasions, I’d celebrate elsewhere.
They recently opened, and I hope they continue to refine their menu and service. However, there’s so many great restaurants in the area so we won’t...
Read moreIt's not often there is a place that succeeds in perfect marks in all areas. But Warehouse 72 exceeded all expectations.
The general manager, Francisco, was phenomenal in his care and attention to detail during our meal. He has a real commitment to the customers and it showed wonderfully in his service and friendly personality - this was just the start and I had no idea.
Our server, Conner, could have been a professional server for years he was so excellent. I felt I was dining at a 5 star restaurant given how attentive he was. Our water was never empty, our food was explained wonderfully, and the courses were brought out in perfect timing.
One thing that set the experience apart was when we ordered our desserts - we were almost done with the delicious choices we ordered when it was brought to our attention we had accidentally received one of the wrong items and had the correct one brought out. (the dessert was so impeccable we didn't notice at all!) Most places would have seen we were satisfied and not said a thing, but Warehouse 72 made it right, even when no need to. Now that is excellent service and a commitment to the customer!
All in all, I had not expected to be so blown away by the service, and it truly rates 10/10 on all marks.
The last thing I will touch on is the atmosphere of the restaurant. I was invited because a friend had seen some videos of it online and it had a cool look - while dining, it was as cool as it looked online inasmuch as it is unique and not exaggerated in photos or videos.
I highly recommend checking...
