The best coffee shop around. The best baristas around. Usually filled with students at this shop. Great place to get in an hour of computer work. My favorite drink is the Iced Americano. However, I wish corporate would use real ingredients and STOP using high fructose corn syrup in the powder drinks and pastries. HFCS is a toxic chemical that blocks the hormone leptin and causes an overdose of insulin in just three weeks. Leptin tells the body that you are full and don't need any more food. By blocking this hormone the body always feels hungry, it doesn't see the message that you are satiated and energized. The human body can't deal with sugar, especially weird chemical sugar HFCS. These cheap chemicals are all causes of metabolic disease syndrome: obesity, hypertension, high blood pressure, cardiomyopathy, pancreatitis, fetal insulin resistance, myocardial infarction, hepatic dysfunction, heart disease, dementia, habituation if not addiction. I've called and called both the coffee bean corporation and their catering service "Baked in the sun Goods" neither is interested in their customers long term health only their bottom line, greedy, filthy, money grubbers and evil stock holders.. STOP POISONING YOUR CUSTOMERS! USE REAL INGREDIENTS. TAKE OUT THE HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP already! You don't have to make money every stinking quarter, JUST BREAK EVEN AND CHANGE TO USING REAL INGREDIENTS. Hey CBTL Corporate. Why don't you think about your loyal customers, we trusted you that the ingredients were healthy! Liars, you've lost my trust! I'm warning everybody I see in the store about the fake ingredients in both drinks and pastries. Please, please remove the toxic Naked Juice, Apple Juice, it's all just sugar laden junk food made to look healthy, it's not healthy at all! Juice is sugar overload with no fiber! Why don't you lead the way and change your ingredients, then market it and inform everyone that you care about your customers health over money! Watch "Sugar: The Bitter Truth" by Dr. Robert Lustig to learn about the truth in the chemical laden, overdose sugar, disease inducing corporate food, processed food, and the devil HFCS sugar!! I'll give you a lecture on nutrition if you want.. or perhaps consider hiring Dr. Robert Lustig to teach you about the evil sugar HFCS, toxins, and...
Read moreOkay place to sit down and get work done, usually adequate sitting. With that said - their hires are questionable. Walked in today (Monday June 17th) not rushing, walked up to counter, no line, already knew what I want also picked up a ginger shot from their quick selection fridge. 3 baristas I assume one was in training, because the young guy who was at register who I expected to take my order just walked away as soon as I walked up and proceeded to small talk with young lady who was operating espresso machine. While doing so he put his wired EarPods in which threw me off because none of them did the usual “hello welcome greeting.” I did not initiate any verbal communication or give them attitude I just gave the benefit of the doubt. Sat down and began working on my laptop. Approx 40 min later I repeated the same actions to go up and order, again (no line) 2 baristas this time, one gentleman did proceed to help me out but was mute communication wise the whole time, because at this point I just wanted the ginger shot. Dude scanned it and walked to the back kitchen, lol I didn’t even pay yet. So yeah, I’m super patient but this left a bad vibe to my afternoon. 3 stars for atmosphere simply because I always find seating here to work....
Read moreI went to the local Coffee Bean & Tea shop a couple of weeks ago and wanted to order a puppachino. I had gotten one there before.
Their am barista told me they could not make them as they were a kosher establishment. He told me dogs were not allowed in (tell that to some one with a service dog).
Can you explain how frothing milk in to a foam and, perhaps, adding a bit of whipped cream is non-Kosher? I never heard of such a thing.
The store was not busy. No one was behind me, The two baristas just sat their talking to each other, Of course, I was willing to pay. Funny thing is STARBUCKS makes them all the time.
Is your cream cheese Kosher? Is your milk kosher? What about your whipped cream? Are they unable to charge $5+ dollars and make it like they would a small, very dry cap w/no espresso?
I am very disgruntled and saddened your less than helpful employees. If this us your policy, I will take my business else where. However, I would like to know why this item is not available or is considered non- Kosher. I would prefer to go to Coffee bean but there are plenty of other shops that will make them...
