I’ve been a loyal customer at the chains for years and used to love the food and the family-friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, that’s changed and not in a good way.
Lately, the environment has become uncomfortable and inappropriate, especially for families. One staff member named Colby frequently lifts up her shirt at the bar and makes explicit, suggestive comments to customers. It’s unprofessional and completely out of place for a restaurant that claims to be family-oriented.
Even more concerning, there’s a young girl working there who openly tells male customers that she’s in high school, flirts with them, wears extremely short shorts that leave little to the imagination, and regularly dances inappropriately around the restaurant. It’s honestly disturbing, especially when there are kids present.
This behavior has completely changed the feel of the place, and it’s disappointing that management allows it to continue. What was once a comfortable, welcoming restaurant has started to feel more like an unregulated bar scene.
Edit/Update: Thank you for responding to my review. I want to clarify something: I never mentioned the employee was “revealing her stomach.” What I said was that she was lifting her shirt, which I found unprofessional, especially given the setting. This specific mention of that detail makes me feel like they may actually know what I was...
Read moreWas on a lunch break and wanted something fairly healthy but super tasty. This plaza didn’t have a lot of options that fit what I was in the mood for (Sushi, coffee, frozen yogurt/ice cream) so Board and brew was the pick. Upon entering I found it quaint/surferish/casual, but the option for seating outside was beautiful and vast. I chose this. They have sandwiches, roll up’s, grilled, salads.. I went for the Turkey avocado 🥑 sandwich and needed to make some substitutions. She/they were very helpful and accommodating. I was thrilled to get the great service and was so excited when I got my sandwich!! It was huge, super delicious and all substitutions were correct. Best lunch in a...
Read moreI recently visited this spot on Alton, right next to Walgreens and Coffee Bean in Alton Park, and I was thoroughly impressed!
The food tasted fantastic, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. When I mentioned my garlic allergy, the staff went above and beyond.
The person taking my order even double-checked with the kitchen to ensure my meal was safe, and they prepared a delicious, garlic-free dish for me.
Everyone was super friendly! They also have a great selection of beers—I tried the hazy beer, and it was super fresh and tasty. Plus, they have TVs for watching basketball or any other games, making it a fun place to hang out. Highly recommend if...
