Ok I never write reviews but our experience here was awful! First there was a group of kids running around playing hide and seek(I know it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault). But still annoying! Then the waitress completely forgot my husbands drink, we had to stop her plus we wanted to order. Then it takes a long time for the food to come out and our waitress just completely ignores us the whole time, not asking to refill our drinks or let us know they didn’t forget about us. Then our food finally comes out and it’s good, it was me, my husband and my one year old( who’s getting real grumpy from being there awhile). My husband is almost done eating when I look at his plate and there was a hair under his pizza! Gross!! So the manager comes over(super nice) and takes the pizza off the bill and offers a dessert. But honestly at this point me and my mom stop eating, we each had a slice, cause we didn’t wanna come across anymore hairs. So while we were waiting on the dessert and check which took over 30 mins! (My son is fussing really bad at this point!) I had to flag our waitress down and said can we just get our check we need to leave, she says the managers gonna bring it with the dessert and then leaves. Then about 10 mins later she brings the check herself not the manager, so we pay which was over $60, kinda ridiculous when we barely ate anything but honestly we just wanted to leave and get our son to bed. As we were about the leave the waitress finally brings out the dessert, we never spoke to the manager again. We will never go back to this location….ohh also there was 2 other tables that had problems with their food as well while we were there, one couple sat down a little after us and finally got there food when we were about to leave and then the guys pizza was wrong so the waitress had to take it back 🤦🏼♀️ oh yea sorry! We also noticed a hair in...
Read moreWow! Truly the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. Upon entering, the host, Addison, did not even greet us and grumpily stated it “will be 5 minutes” and walked away. Sure, no problem. She proceeded to stand in the middle of the almost empty (5 others parties dining at the moment) restaurant to find us a table for an oddly long period of time. She told me the they only have 2 servers and are all running behind. Not really something that needs to be shared with a patron of restaurant— not a great look or feel. We finally get seated. No crayon or kids menu for our toddler was given—I had to walk to the host stand to get it myself because no matter how long I waited, Addison was MIA.
Jose introduced us as our server. I asked to start with a kids vanilla sundae while we placed our order. It took 15 mins to get this scoop. Again, restaurant was nearly empty. They bring the “kids” ice cream out as a huge scoop in a glass bowl with an adult spoon. I asked if he was sure this was a kids ice cream and he said yes. I can tell you that it isn’t because we have eaten at multiple CPKs and that’s not what they are.
We never got any bread service, which I was too upset about because the bin the bread was in was filthy. Our pizza and salad never even made it to the table. It took so long that I asked the kitchen to please pack it up. I had to go to the back of the bar myself to get napkins and a cup. There was simply zero hospitality. If I had to do most of the work myself, I may as well have dined at home.
I have always enjoyed CPK. I grew up eating the bbq chicken chop, tostada pizza, and bbq chicken pizza. Sad to say this left such a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) that we won’t be ordering or dining in there again anytime soon.
I hope corporate can do some hospitality training— especially for...
Read moreI used an Irvine Company coupon to get a free small plate with a 15 dollar purchase. The previous day the Dodgers won so CPK rewards members get a free 7 inch pizza. I decided to order a Dodgers pizza and the server, Miranda, told me that many people come in for the Dodgers pizza and don't order anything else. It seemed that there wouldn't be an issue until I was not allowed to get the small plate and Dodgers pizza at the same time. I was told by a guy at the bar that the fine print says "cannot be combined with any other offer" I read the fine print and it also said "No purchase necessary". The guy at the bar continued to have a discussion with another worker about how so many people use the Dodgers pizza and that the fine print says "cannot be combined with any other offer" As stated earlier, Miranda said people only get the Dodgers pizza without ordering anything else. These people get a free pizza without buying anything yet I don't get a free pizza because I buy a salad and use a coupon to get something complimentary that doesn't rely on the Dodgers pizza free offer. The workers there made me feel like I did something wrong (even though the fine print clearly states that the Dodgers pizza doesn't require a purchase and therefore is not being combined with the IC coupon.). If management reads this, please explain to Miranda and the worker at the bar that the using the Dodger pizza offer and the Irvine Company offer at the same time is not combining them. If it was, people wouldn't be able to get the Dodger pizza without buying anything else. Just because two offers are used doesn't mean they are combined....
