I had a disastrous experience at Haraz Coffee in Irving.
First, the staff seemed completely unfamiliar with their own menu. It took four different employees to enter our simple order, with zero communication about what was happening during the confusion.
The prices were outrageous - $28 for just two drinks and a small slice of cake! For those premium prices, you'd expect premium service, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.
When one of my drinks arrived extremely bitter after just two sips, I politely requested a replacement (which any decent coffee shop would handle graciously). Instead, the staff member looked at me like I was the problem.
There was a significant language barrier, and rather than working to understand my request, she made me feel foolish for having to repeat myself multiple times in plain English.
After finally understanding my request and remaking the drink, she still got it wrong.
Bottom line: Haraz Coffee charges luxury prices but delivers subpar service.
If you're charging premium rates, customers rightfully expect premium treatment - especially when there's an issue with your product. I won't be back, and I'd recommend finding one of the many other coffee options in Irving that actually values customer satisfaction.
What's truly baffling is how they willingly lost a lifetime customer over the cost of remaking a single drink. This has to be one of the most shortsighted business decisions I've witnessed.
Think about the math: The profit margin on that bitter drink was probably a few dollars at most. By refusing to cheerfully remake it, they've now lost all future revenue I would have spent there - potentially hundreds or thousands of dollars over time, not to mention the negative word-of-mouth that will surely influence others.
Any business owner with basic understanding of customer lifetime value knows that keeping existing customers happy is far more cost-effective than acquiring new ones. The fact that Haraz Coffee would sacrifice long-term patronage to avoid remaking one drink shows a fundamental misunderstanding of business economics and customer service principles.
It's this kind of penny-wise, pound-foolish mentality that ultimately dooms small businesses. There are too many quality coffee options in Irving to tolerate this level of service, especially at premium...

I recently visited Haraz Coffee in Irving, TX with two friends, and we were seriously impressed. This place is more than just a coffee shop — it’s an experience.
We ordered the cinnamon swirl, Turkish coffee, iced Adeni, and the Haraz Latte, and every single item was absolutely on point. The cinnamon swirl was warm, flaky, and perfectly spiced — not overly sweet, just right.
The Turkish coffee was rich and bold, beautifully presented, and felt authentic down to the last sip. The iced Adeni was smooth and subtly spiced, super refreshing for a Texas summer day. And the Haraz Latte? Easily one of the best specialty lattes I’ve ever had — creamy, aromatic, and balanced with that signature Yemeni spice twist. And let’s not forget the Biscoff Cheesecake 🤤🤤🤤🤤
The space itself was clean and inviting, and the staff was welcoming and happy to answer our questions about the menu. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
Definitely recommend Haraz Coffee whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a cozy spot to hang with friends. We’ll be...
Read moreI'm writing this review as a warning to others, especially parents, after a disturbing experience at Haraz Coffee Shop in Coppell. My kids and I visited this coffee shop, and unfortunately, the food we consumed led to severe health issues.
The Bcoff Milk Cake, in particular, seemed to be the culprit. Shortly after consumption, my kids started vomiting multiple times throughout the night, which led to a sleepless night. Although my wife and I experienced mild stomach discomfort, our kids' reactions were alarming.
The incident raises serious concerns about the quality and freshness of the ingredients used at Haraz Coffee Shop. As a customer, it's unacceptable to expect anything less than standard, fresh food.
Strong Warning: Avoid feeding your kids anything from this shop. Be cautious when consuming food from Haraz Coffee Shop, especially if you have sensitive stomachs or allergies. The management needs to take immediate action to address the quality control issues and ensure the food served is fresh and safe for...
