Title: Unacceptable Service and Treatment at Kebabs To Go
One star
I am a strong supporter of small businesses, but my experience at Kebabs To Go has led me to write this review to share my unfortunate and utterly disappointing encounter.
My wife called to place an order at a different location, but upon arriving at the store, I was informed that the order was placed at the wrong location. This, in itself, was not the problem; rather, it was the way the staff handled the situation that left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Instead of offering to transfer the order or even provide directions to the correct location, I was bluntly told that I would need to pay for both orders if I wanted to place a new one. This was not only unreasonable but also displayed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
Throughout the conversation, the staff's attitude was nothing short of rude and unprofessional. The lack of empathy and understanding was appalling, making me feel more like a nuisance than a valued customer.
This experience has left me with no desire to ever visit Kebabs To Go again. I truly believe that businesses should treat their customers with respect and understanding, and Kebabs To Go has utterly failed in this regard. I am deeply disappointed and will not be supporting this establishment...
Read moreI ordered food from UberEats an hour ago. I was highly disappointed in what I received. A beef kabob is apparently not a steak kabob, but ground beef not even on a stick, just a strip of cooked ground beef-who would’ve thought? The description on Uber eats gives no indication whatsoever that you will be receiving ground beef OR steak for that matter. Having never ordered from this restaurant before, I was beyond disappointed and literally disgusted when I saw my food. I was given sides I would never order on my own because I didn’t “modify a selection under notes”-again-as this is my first time ordering, how would I know to do this? And SECONDLY, the dolmas I ordered have a manufacture date of 4-3-21. I ate dolmas that were EIGHT DAYS OLD!!! This is completely unacceptable, a health risk and quality concern at minimum. Why is this restaurant selling eight day-old food?!???? I’m appalled and literally disgusted and grossed out. I just threw the entire order away after I saw the manufacture date. That sent me over the edge. This restaurant will NEVER get my business again and the lady I spoke to when I called to complain was as helpful as a piece of notebook paper....
Read moreAs a Houstonian, I was aware the food scene in Dallas (taste wise) wouldn’t be up to par with Houston’s food quality. However, this was less worthy than even one star. Service is extremely slow. No one is wearing hairnets. The restaurant requires a deep clean. The security camera alone is drenched in oil and dust.
I ordered online because of the decent and good reviews. Once I walked in I instantly realized I made a mistake. However, didn’t want to make a judgement because there are many places Houston that requires cleaning or more follow of health regulations but food is bomb.
This food comes with meat/vegetable of your choosing and 2 sides of your choosing. Firstly chicken and veggie platters are the same price which is ridiculous. Meat was not marinated to bring any flavors out. Rice is plain white rice with a sprinkle of cumin and powder which I believe is sumac. For this price, you should be getting better quality than 3 small pieces of chicken and rice with no salad, no pita and nothing else. $37 should get you something more decent than in Houston.
Personally, save your money unless your lost and this is your...
