I've been a regular of this place for over 8 years and I tell everyone I meet about it! A great local establishment! A cornerstone of Valley Ranch that never stops improving!
Simply the best NY-style pizza in Dallas. Whole pies or by the slice. It's all in the amazing fresh hand-tossed dough! They also have plentiful pasta dishes (I like a little spinach ravioli with chicken) made fresh right before your eyes. Don't be afraid to customize either! Like your pizza crust a little crispier? Just tell 'em!
A small (full) bar with 5-6 stools that is tended in the evenings. The young blonde isn't the best but she was hired to relieve the cooks from trying to serve drinks AND cook! If you're not having a drink, you can still belly up to eat and chit chat!
Usually the fùtbol/football/baseball game is quietly playing on the TV's. (Ask to change to your game if two TVs are on same). Light jazz/opera/etc music plays overhead. Now there is an outside covered patio for when the weather is nice or you just want to sit outside.
Old and young, families, youth sports teams, business lunch crowd, you'll see it all. It's an all around welcoming place! Tall tables, low tables, booths, pick what's comfortable for you as it's a casual relaxed atmosphere.
Beno, the owner, is a great guy and is generally always there greeting and getting to know his customers. He TRULY cares about his restaurant. The staff is great and always have a smile on their faces.
If you're looking for great food and good people, drive past all those other places and stop here! You'll be...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal patron of New York Pizza Pasta & Subs since 2018, and it’s always been my go-to spot for authentic New York-style pizza in the DFW area. After moving to Austin, I hadn’t visited in two years, but I recently returned and was delighted to find that the quality and flavors remain top-notch.
Over the years, I’ve tried various menu items, including the stuffed pizza, regular cheese, Margherita, and several pasta dishes. The stuffed pizza is a personal favorite—rich, hearty, and packed with flavor. The Margherita pizza, with its fresh basil and mozzarella, offers a delightful balance of simplicity and taste. Their pasta dishes are consistently well-prepared, with generous portions and robust sauces.
The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, featuring warm lighting and comfortable seating. It’s a great place for both casual lunches and relaxed dinners. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
One of the highlights of my recent visit was the consistency in food quality. It’s reassuring to see that, despite the passage of time, the restaurant maintains its commitment to delivering delicious meals.
I’ve added some photos from my recent visit to give you a glimpse of the dishes and the restaurant’s interior.
If you’re in the Valley Ranch area and craving authentic New York-style pizza or hearty pasta dishes, I highly recommend stopping by New York Pizza Pasta & Subs.

Read moreYesterday, I ordered 2 appetizers to go, and when I got there to pick up my order, there was nobody in the back of the glass counter. Only one guy behind the bar 🍸 counter. Thereafter, one guy came out from the back and he proceeded to properly place my appetizers in the to go aluminum boxes, with the kitchen serving prongs, when the guy from the bar came and started helping him pack my second appetizer in the other aluminum box. This guy not only did he wipe his hands with the dirty rag they use to clean the countertops with, but he handled my appetizers with his bare hands, which is disgusting. This is unacceptable and uncalled for. The first and last time I order anything there. How can they handle customers' food with their hands. I paid for both appetizers, but when I got home I threw away the box that the guy handled with his hands. I don't like people touching my food with their hands. That is not sanitary at all. Also, when I was paying, I noticed that the other guy placed french fries on a plate for another customer that was there, dining in, with his bare hands as well, and proceeded to wipe the inside of the frying pan with the dirty rag they clean countertops with, and placed it in the "to use again pan stack". I guess that they are use to doing that there. This is totally disgusting. This is why alot of people get sick and hospitalized. Will not order anything from...
