We stumbled to this place late at night during the week. It was really the only place open besides fast food. We did not know what to expect so we were open to try this place out. The place was very loud and crowded. We were seated promptly and we were surprised they had a full bar. We started with some cocktails and they were just horrible. The drinks had too much alcohol, which if it was 10 years ago then they would have been perfect. The service was a bit slow but the waitstaff was very nice and pleasant. We almost did not order food based off the drinks but we were willing to still try it. I am glad we did as well, the food was phenomenal. We tried both the pan fried momos and chow mein. This was the perfect midnight snack. The chow mein was Nepalese style and it was sublime. It had so much flavor with a hint of spice. I am still tasting the spices. The momos were also great and nicely pan fried. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for some amazing food. I just suggest to get the...
Read moreThis is a nice restaurant, with a full bar inside, a dance floor and stage, and it had multiple large screens playing different sports games going on. Service was amazing, the waitress was very sweet and everything came quickly. However, for the price, the food was very inauthentic Indian food. We got the lamb rack, tandoori chicken, chicken lollipop, gulab jamun, masala chai. The chicken lollipops and gulab jamuns were very good! the Tandoori chicken was a huge serving for the price but lacked flavor and the typical spices that defines a tandoori chicken. The lamb rack also was well made and good meat, but lacked spice and flavor too. In general, DFW has a very competitive Indian food scene with lots of options. Compared to other Indian restaurants, this one is above average ambiance wise but below average food/...
Read moreMe and my boyfriend we always go to the same restaurant (not gonna mention their name) and we decided to try something new and they gave us a reason not to. I ordered their food thru dd once and i liked it a lot so we decided to dine in there. And let me tell you it was a very disappointing experience.
Food wise, it was okay good portion for the price and tasted good. But it was the service that bothered me. We had to wait 10 mins to place an order just for the drinks. The servers were talking to each other and with their cell phones in their hand. We had to remind them twice that we didn’t get our drinks. I’ve been to several other Nepali/Indian restaurants and I am a server myself, so I would expect some kind of service but that was just not it. The owner was sweet enough to check up on us. But we know we are...
