Wings 88 — Restaurant in Irving

When I tell you that this place hit every craving that I had last night and one that I didn't even know I had. I wanted some wings but I am always down for seafood. I didn't even know I wanted fried rice until I saw it as an option. Wings 88 had the perfect combo. Their combo came with 2 pieces of fish (whiting, catfish or tilapia), 5 wings, fried rice and a drink. Bro you cannot beat that.

For the combo, I opted for tilapia, 5 hot lemon pepper wings, fried rice and a lemonade kool-aid drink. Listen the whole meal was bomb but let's go item by item. The tilapia was fried just as asked, hard. I loved that it came with a lemon but i could have used some hot sauce. The hot lemon pepper wings were divine! I have tried hot lemon pepper wings before but no one has seem to get the sauce right. I wish this place was back home. And again my wings were fried hard as asked. For it to be plain fried rice (no meat), it was really good. The kool-aid drink was just as delicious. Sooooooo good.

The staff was really nice! I'd kept calling because grubhub didn't allow you to choose the flavors and the type of fish. After a few call backs for clarification (and she was great was for each), we were able to give our flavors over the phone once she received the order from grubhub. My coworker recommended this place to me because I'm a huge chicken tender and chicken wings enthusiast. Well, now I'm telling y'all that this place serves a great portion of tasty food for a great price! I've gone here at least 5 times since I've been recommended this place, and it's always been the same every time I go. They prepare the food in a timely manner, the nice workers strike nice conversations with their customers, and the best part, is when you get your food, you can season it with salt, pepper, seasoned salt, or lemon pepper that they have available before you take your food. Now that's what I call service! So how's it taste? The chicken is evenly crunchy all the way around, and depending on the flavor you pick, you can really taste the perfect black peppery chicken aftertaste found in traditional chicken. The portion of chicken to fries is perfect, especially for the money spent. This place is very affordable, which is why I'm also confused as to why it doesn't have a lot of customers. I want to thank God for another day on this Earth. I am so blessed to be able to tell the public how my experiences at different places that I shop at times and time. We was out looking around for a place to get something to eat we were driving down Beltline in Irving as we looking around we came across this restaurant my husband wanted some wings but he wanted to get some he kind of picky about his wings but anyway we pulled up and parked we stayed in the car for a little bit. We finally got out of the car we sat down for a minute it was at least six people in line so I asked a lady that was in there on her way out how was the food.
